The yoga classes are for all levels, from beginners on the mat for the first time to experienced yogis who want to deepen their practice. Your home for the yoga holidays will be stunning Greek studios and apartments with comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms and doors that open out onto the beautiful terrace.
Bamboo Yoga Retreat has chosen this venue because of its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. It’s situated right on the beach, but only a 15-minute walk from the village center, and has stunning views all around.
The rooms at the venue are beautiful studios and apartments with fridges and kettles. They are spacious and are all ensuite with double balconies, facing the sea and the garden. They have terraces on both sides overlooking the beach at the front and the gorgeous surrounding garden at the back.

The daily yoga schedule starts with a 30-minute morning “be good to your mind” meditation, followed by an hour and a half of invigorating asana practice. The afternoon classes include gentle flows, workshops, and deeply relaxing Yin and yoga Nidra sessions.
Each class will be focused on being good to a different part of the body, finding the sweet spot at the edge of your comfort zone where the yoga magic happens.

Myria has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years, and after years of corporate life decided to make her passion a profession. She has been a yoga teacher for 10 years, starting out by teaching classic Hatha yoga in Rishikesh and moving on to practice Ashtanga with the Jois family in Mysore and Kino McGregor. After teaching power yoga styles such as Baptiste and Jivamukti yoga, she has extended her practice to incorporate techniques that are designed to promote tranquillity element, by qualifying first as a mindfulness teacher and then as a hypnotherapist.
Antiparos is a small picturesque island at the heart of the Cyclades group of islands in southern Aegean, which is known for its distinctive beauty. Antiparos is situated less than one nautical mile from its larger sister island of Paros, to which it is connected by a local ferry.
The island offers over 60 kilometers of stunning shoreline and is blessed with crystalline emerald waters, golden sandy beaches, and other extraordinary natural wonders such as the famous Cave of Antiparos.

You will be served morning tea with fruit, delicious buffet-style substantial brunches, and afternoon snacks including tea, cookies, and fruit every day.
You will also have an arrival dinner and a leaving dinner at the retreat center. On all other evenings, you will be free to explore the village of Antiparos, which is only a 10-minute walk from the retreat.
The venue’s host, Susanne, who spends the summers on this stunning island, will be happy to show you around the town and island and accompany you to dinner.

You can fly to Athens and then either take a short domestic flight or a ferry to the island of Paros.
You can reach Paros island by boat or high-speed ferry from the mainland ports of Piraeus or Rafina, or from the port of another Cycladic island.
To get from Paros to Antiparos, the ferry for Antiparos leaves from Pounta and is easily reached by local bus or taxi, both from Parikia (the port of Paros) or from the airport.
This will be a journey of five to 10 minutes and departures are every half hour.
Susanne, who is hosting these yoga holidays, will guide you on all bookings to make sure you have ease of travel and boat times. She will then meet you at the boat port and bring you to the center.
