Your hosts of this retreat are Mind’s Garden, a wellness business based in the UK and Balitrees Retreats, a joint effort of the local ashram, Perguruan Seruling Dewata, and the villagers of Sesandan. Together, they strive to offer you a truly memorable experience, support the local community, and contribute to sustainable eco-tourism in Bali.

During your retreat, you can choose to stay in a shared or private guesthouse room or homestay room. Guesthouse rooms are deluxe Balinese style villa rooms, surrounded by stunning rice paddies and coconut trees that will take your breath away. Each ensuite room has a flat-screen TV, air-conditioner, shower, toilet, wardrobe, desk and beautiful beds fitted with soft Egyptian cotton beddings. All the artworks in the rooms are beautifully done by artists from the village. We have a lovely pool on site.

Homestay rooms are garden rooms that are built with a unique local cultural touch. Staying in these super comfy homestay rooms offers our guests a great chance to be part of the village life and connect deeper with Hindu culture and people. Each room has a garden-facing terrace, a lounge area, a flat-screen TV, air-conditioner, shower, wardrobe, desk, and cozy beds with Balinese style beddings.

One of the most profound lessons the Coronavirus pandemic has taught us is the importance of CONNECTION. Material things don’t actually matter as much as we once thought they were, and what’s absolutely essential to the human experience is being able to connect with others, physically, emotionally, spiritually, or energetically. Things that don’t typically leave a mark on our hearts become the very things we miss the most- a smile of a baby on the bus, the smell of freshly baked bread in the farmer’s market, chatting to a stranger in a bar and “Hello” from the homeless guy on the street. When the pandemic fades away and leaves many of us mentally fragile, it’s time to ask ourselves, how can we learn to live our lives with deeper awareness, positivity, and inner peace? How can we connect with each other in a more meaningful way? How can we look after ourselves better and kinder? Moreover, how can we love Mother Nature more and cherish its beauty and abundance?

This beautiful 5-day retreat is a perfect opportunity for you to connect with yourself better by learning how our mind works and how to make it work better for (not against) you; to meet and evolve with likeminded people from around the globe and learn from each other’s stories, experiences, and perspectives; to deeply destress, detox and renew your body and soul; and to grow deeper awareness of our inner and outer world especially our Mother Nature. In the Guided Meditation Program, you'll be given psychoanalysis and positive psychology-based guidance, hypnotic exercises, and powerful mind control techniques to work with your own mind and communicate with it effectively; to observe your thoughts and feelings from the inside out and cultivate non-judgmental & mindful awareness of yourself; to connect deeply with your inner voice and intuition and develop stronger mental and emotional resilience; and to learn how to truly relax your body & mind and blossom into the grandest vision you have for yourself. The sessions will be conducted with the assistance of aromatherapy and candlelight, creating a magical ambiance that will help you to arrive into deep relaxation, wonderful peace, and blissful stillness.

In yoga practices, you'll learn different styles of practice including Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Hatha, Power, and Traditional Balinese Watukaru Yoga, to help you develop greater body awareness, learn to listen to your body, supercharge your practice with the concept of neuroplasticity and flow effortlessly into stillness and inner harmony in order to experience the truth of who you are.

In meditation practices, you’ll practice various techniques such as Mindfulness, Silent, Tibetan Tonglen, Staring, Hugging, and Dancing Meditation. These practices give meditation beginners a great chance to kickstart their meditation practice and experienced practitioners a wonderful opportunity to learn other techniques of meditation. You’ll make many new discoveries about yourself and open up to new perspectives and beliefs that will powerfully transform your mindset.

In breathwork practices, you’ll be guided through different breathing techniques and learn to harness the phenomenal power of your own breath; release emotional blockages, pain, and trauma; reverse the "fight-or-flight" response and deeply relax every cell in your body, and to feel perfectly safe and grounded in the present moment using the breath as your anchor.

Whether you are a complete beginner in meditation or yoga, you have been practicing for some time, or you are an experienced meditation or yoga teacher, this Positive Transformation Program will empower you with profound knowledge, wisdom, and a fresh perspective on yourself.
