Balearic Retreats offers yoga retreats that cater to anyone wanting to advance their yoga practice, regardless of their level.
Pilar has been practicing different styles of yoga for years, but in 2013, she discovered Ashtanga yoga and it changed her life. She instantly fell in love with the practice after experiencing how powerful and transformative it can be, as it becomes a meditation in movement. She completed several courses in India, in both Ashtanga and Vinyasa styles, and travels every year to Mysore to practice with her guru and teacher R. Sharath Jois. She has also studied with high profile teachers like David Williams, Rolf, and Marci Naujokat.
Ximena discovered the practice of Ashtanga yoga in 2009. In 2014, she traveled to Mysuru to study with her Paramaguru R Sharath Jois at KPJAYI. She has returned yearly to India to further her studies. In 2016, she received the blessing to teach Ashtanga yoga by Paramaguru Sharath Jois. In 2015, she started teaching Ashtanga yoga and in 2016, she moved to Beijing to start a Mysore program where she teaches traditional Ashtanga (also called Mysore style or self-practice). In 2016, she attended the one-month intensive course with well-known ashtanga teacher, Richard Freeman.

I came here to find a little peace from my sometimes quite hectic daily life. I found a lot more than this. You opened a door to a new world for me. Even though I did some yoga before I never dived that deep into this world. You made me curious to take a deeper dive into it. Thanks so much!. Love.
