This retreat is an all-in-one retreat program that incorporates ancient Ayurvedic science with healthy, live raw foods, green smoothies, relaxing and detoxifying Abhyanga massages, colon cleanses and specialized Ayurvedic treatments based on individual body types. Bahay Kalipay Detox and Yoga Retreat House combines these essential elements together to lovingly support your process towards gentle cleansing, clearing, and clarity of being.
Unlike other more aggressive cleanses, this particular program incorporates a variety of relaxation, personalized care and gentle detoxification techniques that work on both the skin and much deeper levels of healing without the discomforts (such as cravings or hunger) that might accompany another type of cleanse or detox program.
From start to finish, your entire experience will also be fully supported by the loving hands and wise wisdom of Tza Bautista, a certified Abhyanga practitioner and senior yoga teacher at Bahay Kalipay Detox and Yoga Retreat House. This program consists of massage sessions, gentle detox routine dosha-based raw food meals, yoga, qigong, energy healing, colon cleansing, and oil-pulling therapy.
To support your detox process during this retreat, they will incorporate Abhyanga massages (which is translated to "loving hands”) and colon cleansing as part of your gentle cleanse program. This ancient Ayurvedic massage incorporates the use of a special formulation of oils which includes a blend of coconut and neem oils, revered for their many healing properties.
To support the digestive system with the elimination of toxins and bad bacteria from the body, you would go through a colon cleansing after each Abhyanga massage session in the next day. The elimination process is also supported with probiotics (kefir) and herbal supplements to allow the body to resource and rejuvenate itself after the colon cleanse. The detox self-care kit is included in this retreat. The kit contains herbal supplements, oil pulling kit, sarong, shampoo, conditioner, sunblock, soap, anti-mozies spray, etc.
Some of the many benefits of the Purvakarma cleansing program includes:
Women should ensure that they do not have their period during any of the Purvakarma cleansing program days. In Ayurveda, the point of the Purvakarma cleansing program is to add more Pitta (fire element) to the body in order to “burn” the impurities and toxins that have accumulated in the body. During a woman’s menstruation, the body is already in a heightened state of Pitta. Doing Purvakarma would have the effect of adding more fire to fire, causing an imbalance in the Doshas (the interplay of earth, water, and fire elements in the body).
The massage strokes are somewhat vigorous in nature and work in the abdominal area, therefore it is advised for you not to go for this cleanse if you are pregnant. Neem oil is one of the components of the Abhyanga oil, although having beneficial healing properties it also has a mild contraceptive effect on the body.
Private hut is available at 450 PHP per night additional and family hut at 600 PHP per night additional.

Ayurvedic medicine, also known as Ayurveda, is one of the world’s oldest holistic (whole-body) healing systems. It developed thousands of years ago in India. It is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. The primary focus of Ayurvedic medicine is to promote good health, rather than fight disease. But treatments may be recommended for specific health problems.
The highlight of the Purvakarma detox cleanse program is the daily Abhyanga oil massage. The resource of the oil is from local, organic, and sustainable sources. This oil is near-medicinal in quality. It is 100% guaranteed Philippine made, zero additives or preservatives.
Abhyanga massage is a gentle, full body cleansing massage that involves touch, warm oils, and herbs to improve the overall wellbeing of a person. Utilizing techniques based on traditional Ayurvedic principles of the Doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Abhyanga massage addresses imbalances within the body and works to bring a person’s Dosha back into its original state.
The vigorous massage strokes in Abhyanga massage are used to ensure maximum absorption into deeper layers of the skin, eliminating toxins beyond the surface level of the skin. Some have even reported oily bowel movements after a few Abhyanga massage sessions which are an evidence of how deeply the oil penetrates into the body. Formulated with the personalized meal plans based on your body type, this detoxifying massage flushes toxins out of the system and eventually eliminated through the colon. This massage takes 60 or 90 minutes.
