Jo is a Pilates instructor and nutrition advisor. She is a Stott Pilates MAT-plus instructor (matwork, fitness-circle, flexband, arc-barrel), nutritionist and dietician - Dietetica y nutricin ISMET -Instituto Superior de Medicinas Tradicionales, Barcelona and the Author of Truly Healthy, Truly Delicious. Jo is also an advanced practitioner and inspiring instructor of Stott Pilates. Her classes focus strongly on understanding correct form, body awareness and body synergy, giving students the understanding and skill to progress in their pilates safely and quickly.
Valentina is an inspiring teacher, and blends classical Hatha yoga adapted for all levels with Vinyasa yoga to make classes fun, challenging and inspiring. She connects with each and every student and her warm, open demeanor allow her to really see what each student needs. Having trained using ancient Indian methods learned in her various studies all over the world. Classes with Valentina improve agility, muscle tone, strength, flexibility, and breath control. Valentina believes in yoga’s physical and mental benefits, providing a holistic harmony in human’s bodies through asanas and pranayama.
Andrea is the founder of OneYoga Studio in Manchester and a regular contributor to ‘Ask The Expert’ (Manchester Evening News). She combines her many years of experience studying and working with the human body and movement with an in-depth study of nutrition and raw foods and their impact on overall wellbeing. She is also trained in ante- and post-natal care. Naturally approachable and caring, her passion is to bring the joy and release of yoga to her students.
Charlotte started her journey with us as a young yogini and volunteer in 2012, a six-month experience which quite literally changed her life. Having learned a new, simpler way of living, she committed to return to London, a place she had previously turned her back on, to continue a career in media which she had once tried to escape. Her time away from her ´life´ had taught her that she wasn’t defined by a place, a job, or her things, and that she always had a choice. Yoga became her compass, an internal light which when strong will shine through even in the big smoke.
As a surfer, yoga lover, and Classical Pilates aficionado, Jamie founded Azulfit to share his passion with those who are ready to take their next conscious step toward vibrant health. Changing the world takes energy, clarity and inspiration, and Jamie makes sure his students have more than they need so they can be a shining example to others of what is possible. Jamie is a Peak Pilates Master Instructor, 2nd Generation Master Pilates teacher and is one of the world’s first specialist Pilates retreat teachers, having designed and taught Pilates retreats for 10 years.
Rachel loves to encourage playfulness and wonder within her yoga practice, her classes, and life. She has been teaching full time since 2006, hosting her own retreats and exploring the world. Rachel is from The Midlands in the UK. She has recently spent 18 months in India and is now enjoying the calm and peaceful lifestyle in beautiful Fuerteventura and loving teaching at Azulfit. You can expect to practice anything from Hatha to Vinyasa to Yin to Partner yoga and all with a few laughs along the way.
Kat Pither is a yoga teacher from Yogi Bare. The aim of her classes is to walk away happy, blissful, with all feeling well in your body and your soul. She believes in the magic of cultivating a quiet self confidence and peace and is unafraid to love both a cocktail and avocado equally.
Stefan is passionate about yoga, and deeply committed to the student trainees. His empathetic, style allows student teachers to thrive as he shares his knowledge and encouragement throughout the course and beyond. Stefan is well practiced in Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, hot yoga, Anusara, Yin, Flow, Power Yoga, and he enjoys the discipline of Ashtanga. His practice has been deeply committed since his first teacher training in 2014 in Australia. He is a 500hr registered teacher, completing an advanced 300hr Ashtanga teacher training in Mysore in 2016.
Bob is physiotherapist with many years experience in anatomy and human movement. He presents the anatomy module of the course tailored for the needs of yoga teachers. The module contains anatomy and physiology in specific relation to yoga practice. Bob presents anatomy in a practical, fun and hands on manner using a variety of techniques to help you see, feel and learn your anatomy.

It’s rare that you can say that a place looks better in reality than it does online! It’s even rarer to say a place has a better vibe in reality than online too! Azulfit is both of these things - well done to the team! It’s clear that the staff love working here and feel valued and supported by the owners. It was just such a warm and genuine welcome that really puts a smile on your face and helps you to unwind after the travel. It had been a bit of a journey for me as I’d had a cancelled flight and ended up coming on the Wednesday after the group had already got to know each other, but it didn’t matter, the love was infectious and I didn’t feel isolated. The Yoga practice was perhaps my most favourite thing as I just really felt that Rachel’s creativity and passion to help people progress was top notch! The food was awesome, they totally looked after me with my gluten free diet (I often feel like the poor relation, but not here!)
The site is safe, clean and really well maintained. It is true that it isn’t high end luxury, but do you know what, it really doesn’t need to be, you’ll feel well looked after and will really enjoy your stay 🙏

I liked that you could do as many or as few of the classes as you liked - I never felt obliged to go to everything. That and the healthy food, made everyday. Heads up: they don't serve alcohol - this isn't one of those boozy retreats ;)

Since it was my first yoga retreat I didn’t know what to expect. Which was great cause I was pleasantly surprised by the knowledge and personal attention paid to my needs by the staff. The food was great and beautiful to look at. The instructors so very personable and fun and challenging.Two and three classes a day is no joke! Loved my little apartment. The grounds were so pretty and lush. Great pool and hot tub too. The massages, the massage therapist. I wanna bring them home with me! Just an amazing experience all the way round.

The food was lovely once they had the quantities sorted. I loved the classes and it was a great bonus to have Carole run the Meditation and Breathwork classes in the evening which I believe she did out of the goodness of her heart as she was a guest at the retreat.
Rachael was very generous with her time. She offered to take some of us for a walk and was happy to share her local knowledge along the way. She was flexible (on many levels) to teach Laughing Yoga which was a hoot.

If you have any doubts about going to this yoga retreat - don’t. It truly surpassed my expectations in every way possible. The yoga classes, the food, the vibe, teachers, the wonderful nature of the other attendees.
It sounds a bit ridiculous but that short week helped me beyond a simple relaxation and physical standpoint; the subtle improvement it makes on your overall mental and emotional well-being is something I’m still impressed with now (weeks after returning back to the corporate work life).
I have every intention on returning, and have recommended it to numerous friends!

A great mix of activity and relaxation! The food is wonderful! The classes are excellent. All of the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming and they provide a very personal service. The treatments onsite are excellent. The weather was beautiful (in August). Nice walks in the surrounding area. The beaches on the island are stunning. The nearby village is small but within walking distance - there's a small grocery shop and a few places to eat. Cost of living on the island is low so shops and restaurants are good value for money. There are buses every hour that go to nearby towns from the village.

I loved the yoga teacher Valentina Parmigiani! Jo instructing Pilates was also amazing! And Charlotte perfect to unwind. The staff were all so friendly and attentive! I had to hug them before leaving. The food was prepared with such care and it was so varied and delicious we really enjoyed every single meal. They also service the room every two days with fresh flowers and towels. Awesome Hot Tub! Yasmina gave us a massage with her magic hands, so good I straight away booked one more before leaving.
The trip to Isla de lobos SUP was awesome !!! Really loved everything about it. Can’t wait to be back!

We have been on a number of yoga retreats, but the combination here with pilates is perfect: flexibility AND strength. Staying for 2 weeks worked good for us as we also played golf. both groups were so open, inviting and inclusive towards us, being " seniors."

Quiet location and nice pool area etc.
More vegetarian food (it seems to me that most of it was vegan) would have been nice, but everything that was prepared was really delicious and creative, it was also good to discover new ways of cooking food.

Adan Yoga instructor and Jo Dombernonsky Pilates instructor where both excellent, very patient and understanding and I felt over the week I learnt a great deal and my body felt very relaxed and more toned!

Ik heb een geweldige week gehad bij Azulfit. Het eten was ontzettend lekker 2 keer per dag kon ik zo aanschuiven en mijn bord vullen met een heelijke verse gezonde maaltijd. Voor tussen de middag werd een lunch gemaakt. De accomodatie is erg mooi en de kamers minimaal maar mooi ingericht. De mix van yoga en pilates maakt dat er voor ieder wat wils is. Ik kom zeker terug!

Ik heb echt een superweek gehad, waar heel goed voor iedereen werd gezorgd, het eten fantastisch was en iedereen, zowel groep als personeel, heel aardig en leuk waren. Overal is aan gedacht en de yoga- en pilateslessen zijn professioneel en met humor. Er wordt maatwerk geleverd en de bijkomende massage van Johanna was ook echt heerlijk!

Ein insgesamt tolles Programm: die Unterkunft, das Essen, die Anlage und die Lehrer. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir unterschiedliche Yoga Stile und Pilates kennen zu lernen, angenehm abwechslungsreich. Auch die Massagen und Osteopathie waren großartig. Man merkt, das alles mit Liebe und viel Achtsamkeit ausgewählt und zusammen gestellt ist. Insbesondere Rachel war einfach sensationell und immer mit viel Liebe, Herzblut und jeder Menge Humor bei der Sache. Vielen Dank nochmal!

Comida preparada con mucho amor y las combinaciones que hacen son excelentes, todo estaba bueno. Las clases bien estructuradas y dan explicaciones tecnicas que son muy útiles. Las terapias que ofrecen son gente preparada y merecen la pena.

"Très belle expérience"
Les profs sont extrêmement bienveillants et les cours de très bon niveau. Le lieu est très agréable, les chambres sont confortables, l'après-midi on a le choix entre squatter la piscine et prendre le bus pour aller à la plage. Chacun choisit son rythme... Les repas sont merveilleux !
Claire est aux petits soins et veille à tout.
Bref, un accueil à la fois très professionnel et très humain. Parfait !

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub voller neuer Eindrücke, neuen Freundinnen, unglaublich leckerem Essen, toller Yoga-Stunden und einer perfekten Lage zum Strand ist leider viel zu schnell vorbei gegangen. Hier ist jeder richtig, der Yoga entspannt erlernen oder vertiefen möchte. Aufgrund der Lage und der Zeiten der Stunden bieten sich auch genügend Gelegenheiten, um zu surfen, Ausflüge zu machen oder am Strand zu entspannen.

"Best holidays - highly recommended "
If I have to use one word to describe this place, I would use serenity. The house is design beautifully: bright colors, candles, amazing garden and pool side. The hosts and instructors were very welcoming, helpful and soo nice that I felt I met my long time no see friends :) The food was the best vegan food I have ever had - big kudos to the chefs. Jasmine - our massage therapist made my stay even better! Staying there was a great experience which helped me to fully relax, rejuvenate and I definitely recommend Azulfit to anybody who is looking for high quality time for himself.

I've done quite a few retreat and I have to say that AzulFit comes on top. The venue is beautiful, the food second to none, and the yoga and pilates classes complement each other perfectly. But most of all, the atmosphere of the place is perfect to recharge your batteries.
