Accommodation at Ayuskama is clean, cozy, and comfortable. The school offers twin-sharing accommodation and private accommodation to students and clients. Each cottage at Ayuskama has an attached bathroom for personal use. The excellent ventilation allows a fresh mountain breeze to fill up the rooms.

The rooms are big and spacious with proper ventilation. The school provides fresh bedsheets, towels, and hot shower facilities in each room.

Hatha yoga asana class

You will be introduced to the authentic asana in a more comfortable way under the supervision of Yogacharya. Yogic postures comprise four hours of the daily schedule. Covering the learning of technique, training, and practice. Includes principle of instruction, demonstration, observation, assisting / correcting, conscious training in concentration.

Yoga philosophy class

Covering the background of yoga, Patanjali’s 8 Limbs to the Path of Enlightenment, Ayurveda and yogic lifestyle (based on four principles of Yogachara-ahara, Achara, vihara, and vichara) and include ethics for the yoga teacher, Ayurveda and traditional texts (Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, Samkhya philosophy, Charka Samhita, Bhagavad Gita, etc.)

Body alignment class for a specific posture

This is for proper muscle stretching and to know what is the correct way for doing those particular asanas.

Ayurveda anatomy and physiology class

To understand modern, Ayurveda, and yoga concepts of disease management in a therapeutic way. Covering both the understanding of conventional anatomy and physiology (bodily system, organs, etc.) and Ayurveda physiology (kosha, prana, chakras, nadis etc.

An in-depth study of posture, alignment, energetic and health benefits, adjustments, and modification.

Ayuskama takes extra care while preparing meals for their students. Freshly-cooked vegetarian food served at the center is nutritious, sattvic, and hygienic. They only use organic vegetables, spices, and condiments while preparing meals. The spacious dining hall is where students sit to have meals together.

The center does not serve non-veg meals at the premises. One of the founding principles of yoga is ahimsa (non-violence) and they abide by it.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Jolly Grant Airport (DED). The Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun is the closest domestic airport to Rishikesh. It is located just 20 km from Rishikesh. Once you reach Dehradun Airport, you can book a cab to Rishikesh. If you inform Ayuskama Ayurveda Rishikesh in advance, they can also arrange a pick-up for you from Dehradun airport to Rishikesh, for an additional charge.

You can also land at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). The distance between Delhi to Rishikesh is 238 km. Once you land in Delhi, you have two options. First, book a cab from Delhi to Rishikesh. The journey by road will take around 5-6 hours. If you inform Ayuskama Ayurveda Rishikesh in advance, they can arrange a pick-up for you from Delhi airport to Rishikesh, for an additional charge.

The second option is to fly to Dehradun from Delhi. The airport in Dehradun is the closest domestic airport to Rishikesh. It is located just 20 km from Rishikesh. Once you land at Dehradun airport, you can book a cab to Rishikesh. If you inform Ayuskama Ayurveda Rishikesh in advance, they can arrange a pick-up for you from Dehradun airport to Rishikesh, for an additional charge.

For pick-up from Delhi airport, it will cost 65 USD (one way) while pick-up from Dehradun airport will cost 16 USD (one way).
