Devrim Zahir

Devrim completed his teacher training qualification at the Sivananada Ashram in Kerala, India in 2004. He has been teaching yoga since then. AYP came into his life in 2006 and was a transformation for both his personal practice and his teaching style. Like most teachers, asana practice was his focus, however with AYP he slowly began to understand the connectivity of all other parts of yoga, leading to a much deeper, effective and efficient practice. Devrim now runs his own yoga studio and yoga retreat center on the island of Koh Tao in Thailand.

Alex Wales

Alex first came to yoga through meditation, and this practice continues to provide the foundation of his yoga journey and the inspiration for his teaching. He sees the practice of yoga postures as a means to integrate the subtle transformative effects of meditation with the physical body creating space in life for peace, energy and creativity to arise. Alex aims to offer a therapeutic practice, leading to healthy, functional and effortless movement in daily living. He has been practising AYP since 2009 and currently teaches AYP Yoga classes at the Stables Yoga Centre in York, U.K.

Tristan was excellent, a genuine person, I arrived frazzled and stressed, I left feeling I have been very fortunate to have found this way of yoga and meditation which suited me very well. I even was introduced to a teacher who lives close by so I can continue a weekly class.

"A very relaxing retreat!"

I enjoyed all the practices that we did, some were new to me but they were all very well explained.

The eating twice a day was great, this is something that i have not done before but i will continue as much as i can.

The location was perfect, the food was perfect and the overall experience was just amazing.
