The venue will be a beautiful eco-lodge set on an acre of abundant nature and gardens. It is located on the hill near Lake Villarica in northern Patagonia. The yoga lodge is located near a mountain stream and at night you can relax to the sound of running water and in the morning be woken up by birdsong. All buildings’ interiors are made of natural materials. You will stay in a twin or double room that is heated with radiators so that it will be warm and comfortable.

This retreat will be held at AvaniYoga Retreat Center. Pucon is an adventure hub of an adventurous country. Pucon is located in the Arauncania province of the lakes district, at the northern gateway to Patagonia. Pucon is also known as South Americas whitewater epicenter and geologically Pucon lies on the western Andes slope in the heart of the lakes district surrounded by three volcanoes. Here in the lakes district the temperate deciduous rainforest and snow-capped volcanoes collectively offer South Americas most reliable river flows.

All meals are gourmet vegetarian and vegan. The daily lunch and dinner buffet includes a pure food option, which offers greens, grains, and legumes. We purchase the food from local farmers and organic produce when available.

For those looking for the ultimate whitewater experience, come and ride the wild, remote rapids of the Trancura River. Its class three and four rapids rush through a valley where the scenery is just as impressive as the whitewater. Your expert guide will outfit you with the latest in rafting equipment and train you in the proper paddling and safety techniques before embarking on this epic adventure. Prior rafting experience is recommended but it is not necessary. This run is perfect for the experienced rafter and for the adventurous first timer.

This emerging global sport is like walking on water. Unlike surfing, stand up paddle surf is very easy to learn, but provides a good core workout. Within one hour the instructor will make you feel comfortable on your board and you will enjoy being out on the surrounding lakes.

The bus to Pucon Kayak Hostel runs every half hour. Across from the Jac bus station are the buses labeled caburgua on top. They run every half hour until 22:00. Get on the smaller passenger size caburgua bus. Tell the bus driver you want to stop at Pucon Kayak Hostel or Puente Metrenehue. After a 10 kilometers drive, look for a yellow kayak on a gate, then you have arrived.
Taxis are available at Temuco International Airport (ZCO), you just have to request any of them to take you to Pucon Kayak Hostel.
