In this yoga retreat, you will learn how to be an object to yourself beyond all speech, beyond all names, beyond the subtlest of all subtle things, beyond mind, the intellect, and the five senses. You will learn to connect more to yourself and find your inner peace where the bondage of ignorance of this world cannot affect you at all.

In his classes, you will be taught about present moment, where you can learn breathing naturally and can transcend this dimension and really connect with the self behind the ego. His classes are heart-oriented, spiritually inspiring, and grounded in a deep knowledge of outer and inner alignment. Every posture is a prayer and is offering to the divine while focusing on a heartfelt intention and the flow of spirit (the breath).

  • Miel FreeBee

Miel spent most of all his life exploring the vehicle of the human body and the depths of the true self. He transmits an intrinsic peace in his practice and is an excellent facilitator in the discovery of the harmony between body, mind, and soul.

  • Edson Van

Edson is the pioneer of Yoga Livre where he connects all the elements of life and work in his practice. He integrates the polarities of love and fear, ego and soul, and work with each yogi through emotions practice.

The yoga retreat will be held in Jaibalito, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Jaibalito is the least developed and biggest little town in Lake Atitlan. Most people who visit the lake have no idea it even exists. It’s inaccessible by road and there are no cars. Because of this isolation, Jaibalito remains the most authentic and charming Mayan village in Lake Atitlan.

"This beautiful off the grid cabin was an incredible way to feel one with nature! Upon walking into their garden it smells so fresh and butterflies are all around the property, you can tell every rock was placed with love! There are tree houses and all sorts of unique spots to relax outside on the deck or around the yard or if you stay indoors the whole front of the house is all glass windows with amazing views! Truly sensational!! The cabin is very comfortable and cozy and Miel & Aline are not only fantastic and very considerate hosts but they are also truly inspiring people! From sharing yoga and talks on life to being introduced to their very wise friend Lyfe, who spent the day doing an incredible I Ching reading, this stay inspired my life while rooting me in nature. Jaobalito is a cute teeny lil town on the lake with one restaurant Han's which has great food and low prices and you can walk to Santa Cruz or a quick boat ride to other towns for more selections of restaurants. This is quite the wonderland with fantastic volcano views, a definite highlight to my trip in unimaginable ways!"

"This was the MOST AMAZING place we have stayed at the lake. It's so impressive that Miguel (Aline's boyfriend) made everything himself. He is a very relaxed host, who helped us with our luggage (it's a steep 10minute walk uphill, bit so rewarding.. You'll see when you get there!). Not only the house is great, but also the garden with the different plateau's and different spots to sit with spectacular views of the lake and volcanoes. They grow different kinds of herbs and some vegetables that you can use for tea and salads. I even felt proud for him that they created such an amazing place and we are thankful we could stay here! We absolutely recommend it!!"

"Our stay at Aline and Miguel's place was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for a more beautiful spot to stay, and they were so helpful! We loved waking up early to watch the sunrise on the porch. The town of Jaibilito is amazing if you want to relax and go for great hikes. It's also very easy to get to the other towns surrounding the lake. Our stay was unforgettable and we hope to return soon!!!"

"I stayed here for 9 days. And one of the things I can say, both the place and the view is breathtaking! The hike up is definitely worth the peace, the view and you build really good legs. I love eco houses, I loved their place, clean, stunning, loved the wood smell, comfy bed, the cat, both the hosts are super nice people who will guide you around and or help you, just perfect. Even if you're not looking for something off grid, this place combines nature and it's only a few "launches" away from Panajachel and Santiago. 100% recommend the place!"
