"They organized an excellent tour of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia for my husband and me; we loved our four days in Luang Prabang. We stayed at the Mekong River View, a boutique hotel with stunning views of the Mekong and a beautiful riverside restaurant. It was a perfect place to spend the first days of our trip and overcome jet lag, with beautiful architecture, interesting history, lovely shops and market, and excellent restaurants. We also appreciated the many inexpensive and very good massage salons after our long plane ride. Our guide was excellent. We loved the river trip and also our visit to small villages in the mountains. If I had to do the trip again, I would have added two to three days to drive to the capital, Vientiene, and spend some time there. We then flew to Hanoi, had a one-day tour and then spent two days, one night on a Hai Long Bay cruise, with Paradise Cruises. The boat was luxurious, with excellent food and service, and a very entertaining cruise director, Ronald Cinco. The tuk-tuk ride in Hanoi was one of the most interesting experiences of my life, and we enjoyed the water puppet theater. I wish I would have had a bit more time in Hanoi to see the Hanoi Hilton prison and the history museum. Then, on to historic Hue and quaint Hoi An. In Hue, we stayed at the exquisite La Residence. The history, art, decor, pool, and spa of this hotel were amazing. Our guide, Loi, taught us a great deal about Vietnamese history as we experienced the city, its sites, and markets. We fell in love with Vietnamese coffee. Hoi An is like a bit of all of Asia in one square kilometer; I wish I had time to take advantage of some of the cooking classes offered throughout the city. In Hoi An, we stayed at the Anantara, a five-minute walk from the UNESCO-recognized town. Saigon surprised us with its modernity and world-renown boutiques and hotels. We loved the ballet we saw there. The tunnels were a bit much; propaganda-overload. Otherwise, we enjoyed the city and guide. We then went to Can Tho and the lovely Victoria Hotel. The boat trip was amazing and we really, really liked the authentic restaurant where we had lunch and our visit to local artisans. Our guide helped us deal with our extra luggage (souvenirs for our children and friends) at the airport. We ended our 19-day trip in Cambodia, where we were stunned by the magnificence of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, and really liked the Sofitel Angkor Wat Hotel. The water markets were also interesting. I do wish we could have extended a day and visited the capital, Phnom Penh, and its important museums. I will highly recommend the Vietnamstay / Aurora Travel Agency to all my friends planning trips to the region in the future, and I am grateful to Mr. Pham Tuyen for all his extra attention."

"We toured Vietnam from far north in the Sapa area, to the deep south in Ho Chi Minh City, and many sites in between, including Hanoi, Hue, and Hoi An, to name a few places. Our travel guide from Aurora Travel made this trip an awesome, once in a life-time tour. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about Vietnam and its history. He is also kind, friendly, and funny; with excellent English. This was the trip of a lifetime in a very beautiful and interesting country! I Definitely recommend this Aurora Travel tour."

"We just returned from our Southeast Asia trip a couple weeks ago. My family and I do travel often and we usually explore on our own. This was my first time to book our vacation with a tour company online. I was a little nervous at first, even after reading many good reviews from travelers about Vietnamstay / Aurora Travel company. But after we did our three-weeks customized tour, arranged by Mr Xuan Hao, to Vietnam, Thailand, Lao, Cambodia, and back to Vietnam again, I was happy that I booked with this company. The service was awesome. We had a wonderful trip and everything went better than I expected from start to end. All our tour guides and drivers were courteous and prompted. Most of our hotels were great. Mr. Xuan Hao even contacted the front desk of one of the hotels where we were staying at the time, to let us know that our flight was delayed, which gave us more time to take a short bike tour around the city, instead of waiting an hour at the airport. I couldn't thank him enough for this. It was pleasant and comfortable to have a private driver with a tour guide to take us everywhere we went and provided cold water bottles and wet towels after we returned from our walking tour in the heat of August. We had a wonderful and remarkable trip! I highly recommend Vietnamstay / Aurora Travel tour company!"
