    During this retreat, you will be staying at comfortable hotels, guest houses, and lodges. You will be accommodated in shared rooms with trekking partners of the same sex unless you are a couple. First night will be in Ulleri, second night in Ghorepani, and third night in Tadapani. All meals are included in the price of this retreat.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking, also popularly known as Annapurna Sunrise Trekking or Annapurna Panorama Trekking. It is one of the most popular and relatively easy treks that meander through the beautiful ethnic villages of Annapurna region.

    Invigorating through some rhododendron forests, Poon Hill trekking in Nepal will let you feel the Himalayan Panorama while providing you the opportunities to get close to the local Poonhill trek. It is a short and relatively easy trek into the Annapurna region. This trek is suitable for those who do not have much time to spend and people with a burning desire to observe the beauty of snow-capped mountains.

    The viewpoint on Poonhill is 3210 meters, it offers the best view of mountains and sunrise. Dense rhododendron forests full of birds and imaging valleys make your trip more enjoyable. Mount Dhaulagiri ranges and Mount Annapurna, as well as others higher mountains including Annapurna south, Annapurna two, three, four, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Barasikhar, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Hiunchuli, and Manaslu ranges, can be seen from this trek.

    As the sun touches the snow-capped summits, the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8167 meters) and Annapurna (8091 meters), along with a maze of other peaks, slowly begin to appear like magic before our eyes.

    Note:

    • You have to have your 6 passport size photographs & passport with you to prepare the permit for trek
    • You can store your luggage in Atmashree Yoga center
    • Please mention if you have any health issue & if you have, get it cleared by your doctor before the trek begins.
    • Yoga trek is moderate.
    • You have to have your own yoga mat
    • Please have chocolates, nuts & other light edible things on the way to boost up yourself.
    • Have warm clothes for yourself as it cold at the top
    • Have your trekking sticks with you.
    • Have a water bottle and thermos to store the warm water.

    Accomodations will be simple, food is vegetarian and can be ordered from the menu (only one item at a time), tea in the morning and evening.     Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek

    During this retreat you will experience a four days trek in the Annapurna mountain range. It is one of the most popular trek in Nepal and you will reach the altitude of 3200 meters. You will cross historical mountain villages and be amazed with fantastic views as you climb the stairs and walk along the path.

    Arrival by airplane

    Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu. From there, you can take a domestic flight and arrive at Pokhara Airport (PKR).

    Arrival by taxi

    Once you have reached Kathmandu, please book a taxi and ask the driver to drop you at Atmashree Yoga Retreat in Pokhara. The distance from Kathmandu to Pokhara is 200 kilometers and the taxi fare is from 100 to 120 USD. It will be a wonderful trip of six hours witnessing the beauty of mountains, rivers, hills, and many more.

    Arrival by bus

    Please get a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara bus station. They operate on a daily basis from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the trip costs around 10 to 15 USD. Then, after reaching Pokhara, get a taxi from Pokhara bus station to Atmashree Yoga Retreat.

    • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
    • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
    • The rest of the payment should be paid 14 days before arrival.
