Bali Yoga Teacher Training

The yoga teacher training will be held at a tranquil river valley setting in peaceful East Bali. This 200-hour training will be focused on Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga asana practices. Asia Pacific Yoga Teacher Training New Zealand Program You will cover Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative yoga in this yoga teacher training. You will also cover the following topics for Yoga Alliance certification.

  • Mantra and chanting *Mudras and bandhas
  • Teaching styles and training
  • The theory of chakras, nadis, and koshas
  • Yoga philosophy

Join Steve Hall (RYT500) and Geri Lorkin (RYT200) and guest teachers for this yoga immersion. This full residential yoga teacher training will be held in a tranquil and beautiful coastal Bali near Canggu. You will be guided in a relaxed and focused manner through the steps to begin your yoga teaching, covering all the requirements for Yoga Alliance 200 accreditation. There will be a beautiful yoga shala to practice and learn in.

As course leaders, you are in this program to cultivate your curiosity for yoga, a small word for a huge field of learning, fire up the passion for your own practice, and encourage your authenticity so that your teaching will be a natural overflow of this.

During the training, together you will explore the vastness of the human capacity to connect with your own system, with your fellow students, with nature, and the cosmos, with the indefinable all-pervading presence of energy, consciousness, and awareness.

  • 06:30 Kriyas, meditation, and pranayama

During the immersion, you will have several days off that will allow you to explore a little of this beautiful island of the Bali.

Included excursions

We will visit Ubud, a Balinese temple and water purification site and receive blessings from the local priests.

Steve was born in New Zealand and has traveled widely. He has been fortunate to have experienced many forms of yoga practices and physical fitness. His latest passion is mountain biking and pranayama. He has over 12 years experience and has been involved with yoga training for five years. He has taught over 9,000 hours of classes and has 500-hour yoga registered teacher and e-registered yoga teacher 200-hour classification, as well as being a 200-hour Yoga Alliance trained Kundalini and Aerial yoga teacher. Steve has a relaxed but thorough style of teaching.
Geri Jones
Geri was born in India and moved to Australia when she was young. She has returned there many times and studied classic Vedanta philosophy. Geri is a qualified gym instructor and has always included yoga into her personal training program. Her demonstrations and insight into Yin and Restorative yoga were wonderful. Geri’s calm and nurturing approach to teaching was welcomed by everyone.
Katerina Vinogradova
Katerina is an asana master. She will be teaching some advanced asana sessions during the retreat. She is Russian trained Hatha yogi extraordinaire with 10 years experience with the National Russian Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastic team.
Malcolm
Malcolm is a Myofascial release therapist and will offer a beautiful Myofascial session as a new way of seeing and experiencing the physicality.
Fraulke Schroth
Pyramid Yoga Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Yoga)
Fraulke has RYT200 certificate and was trained in Pyramid Yoga in Thailand. Fraulke is a chakra expert and has trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin yoga.

Retreat location

Nirarta retreat center is my favourite place for trainings. It is a large property giving everyone plenty of space. It has 300 meters of river frontage and views over rice fields and into tree covered hills. It really is as good as Bali gets. There are no distractions here. The perfcect place to Practice and Immerse. Meals are great and staff just gorgeous. Rooms spacious and comfortable. No aircon but good airflow and fans in rooms. The Shala is so spacious and light. Everyone loves this venue.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Transfer from the airport is included. Asia Pacific Yoga can pick you up from the airport.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 3 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
