Alice is an Italian biologist specialized in nutrition and yoga teacher. She has been working from 2013 to 2016 in Italian hospitals. She has been practicing Hatha yoga since 2007. In Mysore, India, she has obtained the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga certificates (200 and 300-hours yoga TTC). She has obtained the Hatha yoga certificate (200-hours) in Varkala, India, where she has also attended to a Satsang 'for Self Realization and Meditation' course. From 2016 she has been teaching in India, Australia, and Italy.

If you are driving and want to bring your car to the island, the most convenient port is Pozzuoli. Caremar and Medmar ferries depart from the Pozzuoli port, which is particularly convenient for those driving. You can reach the port directly from the Naples ring road (or Tangenziale in Italian), exiting at Napoli - Via Campana, without having to take on the city traffic.
The Alibus line from the airport stops at Molo Beverello and Porta di Massa. Tickets cost 5 EUR and can be purchased on board. The taxi stand is directly outside the arrivals gate. Request the fixed fare for the port, EU21 EUR.
If you are flying into Rome and need to reach the island of Ischia, you need to connect through Naples. From Rome's Fiumicino Airport, take the Leonardo Express shuttle train to the Roma Termini central train station, and from here transfer to a train for Naples. From Rome's Ciampino Airport, there are a number of buses that go to the Rome Termini train station. Trains to Naples take about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Book in advance for discounted tickets.
If you are traveling with family or friends, it might be less expensive to book a private transfer from the airport to the port. The driver meets you at the arrivals gate at the airport and takes you directly to the port, helping you to board the ferry.
Reaching Ischia is super easy by ferries, ferries to Ischia's ports in Ischia Porto, Forio, and Casamicciola Terme depart every hour daily from Naples and Pozzuoli all year round. Ferries for Ischia depart from two different piers inside the port of Naples: Calata di Massa and Molo Beverello. Regular ferries depart from Calata Porta di Massa, and hydrofoil ferries depart from Molo Beverello.
You can take the Metro: Line 1, Municipio stop. Walk about 100 meters across Piazza Municipio towards to port. The taxi stand is located outside the central station. Request the fixed fare, 15 EUR.
