The Advanced Yoga Teachers Training course allows graduates from the Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training course to deepen their spiritual knowledge during four weeks of intense yoga practice and study of Vedanta philosophy. Personal and individual instruction and yogic self-discipline are an integral part of the course. Upon graduation you will receive a certificate from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres.
All ages are welcome as participants.
Guests stay in simple and comfortable rooms inside the main house facing a wide expanse of nature with a choice of single, double or shared rooms. There is also plenty of tent space for those wishing to be closer to nature.
Swami Durgananda is Yoga Acharya (spiritual teacher) of the European Sivananda Centres. She teaches yoga and philosophy in teacher training courses throughout the world.
Swami Sivadasananda is Yoga Acharya in Europe. He teaches asanas and pranayama with dynamism, precision and joy.
Swami Kailasananda is Yoga Acharya in Europe and teaches yoga and philosophy in Sivananda Teacher Training courses.
This retreat will take place in Neuville-aux-Bois, Loiret, France.
Two vegetarian meals are served daily which are lovingly cooked according to Ayurvedic principles to energise body and mind.
From Paris take the motorway A10 direction Bordeaux to Artenay (exit 13).
Take the D5 direction Neuville-aux-bois; after Villerau at the roundabout take the second to the right direction Bougy-lez-Neuville (D 297).
After Bougy you will pass through a small wood, turn left into the impasse du Bignon, the entrance to the Ashram is after 100 meters.
If you are in Neuville-aux-Bois, take the D11 direction Checy; take the first right (D8) direction Rebrechien; take the first right direction Bougy-lez-Neuville; the ashram is just before Bougy at the right.
From Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), take the RER B to St. Michel-Notre-Dame, then the connecting RER C to Austerlitz Station (5 minutes) or take a taxi from the airport to the train station (about 50 EUR). From there take a train to Les Aubrais.
From Orly Airport (ORY), take the free shuttle service to Pont de Rungis and then the train to Gare dAusterlitz. Besides that, from the airport take the metro Orlyval and get off at Antony (10 minutes), then the connecting RER B to Saint Michel- Notre-Dame (20 minutes). From there take the RER C until Gare dAusterlitz (5 minutes). From there take a train to Les Aubrais. From Les Aubrais take a taxi from the train station to the ashram (about 40 EUR) or take a bus (Cars Ulys) to Neuville-aux-Bois and get off at the stadium, the trip takes about 30 minutes.
Departure from Gare des Aubrais (Fleury-les-Aubrais) and arrival at Neuville-aux-Bois stadium. Price for a single ticket (as of February 2014): 2.40 EUR.
From the village Neuville-aux-Bois take a taxi to the Ashram which takes another 5 minutes. You need to reserve the taxi in advance.
You can also ask the bus driver to drop you at La Rive aux Bois, before Neuville-aux-bois, and walk from there (one kilometer), take direction Rbrchien (D8) and turn in the route du Bignon, the first road on the right, the ashram is at the end of this road on the right.
Reserve a shuttle taxi minimum 5 days in advance for a direct service to the Ashram. Price: 75 EUR per person for a single trip.
If you arrive in Paris by train at either Gare de lEst or Gare du Nord take the metro Line 5 (direction Place dItalie) to Gare dAusterlitz, (takes about 20 minutes).
The train for Les Aubrais leaves Paris from Austerlitz Station and takes one hour (price 20.60 EUR for a single ticket, as of February 2014).
From Les Aubrais take a taxi from the train station to the ashram (about 40 EUR) or take a bus (Cars Ulys) to Neuville-aux-Bois and get off at the stadium, the trip takes about 30 minutes.
