Accommodation

You will stay in a Southern Portuguese estate made of three beautifully-designed traditional farmhouses, each with a large shaded terrace, a swimming pool, and a dining area. The rooms and cottages have a country-style dcor. Each has an outdoor sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom. Many rooms have a private terrace. Each room has an access to a swimming pool and free wifi.

Retreat location

The Iyengar yoga retreat is located on a hillside between the historic town of Loul and the Algarve coast, surrounded by Almond and orange trees away from the crowds yet close to the beautiful beaches.

Food

When you treat yourself to a yoga retreat, you might want to think about your nutrition for that time. The yoga practice is stimulating a natural process of detoxing, both physical and emotional and nutritional support will also be part of the program.

The food being served is both detoxing and nourishing; it is designed to give you the energy you need, but at the same time easy to digest to allow a sense of lightness and restoration during this practice time. The idea is that you not only learn about healthy eating but experience it on your self for the whole week; hoping that you will take some of it back home with you.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

There are many cheap flights available to Faro airport which is only 20 minutes away. Ryanair and Transavia have direct flights from Amsterdam and Eindhoven and TAP runs cheap flights via Lisbon. It is advised to search with Skyscanner for best options.

From Faro airport which is 20 minutes away from us, many options awaits like sharing a taxi or an airport shuttle (upon request) but it is recommended to rent a car. It is the best way to travel and explore this little piece of heaven. 3-4 people can share a rental car and its costs.
