Registration with Yoga Alliance provides a globally recognized credential. Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow are majors and we practice daily. Iyengar and Aerial are minors which we practice for the first and second half of the course only.

Aerial Yoga

Aerial yoga combines acrobatic arts and anti-gravity asana, however, it’s also an accessible practice that can help you find more length in your spine and safe alignment in your poses.

Use of aerial props was first introduced by BKS Iyengar who tied ropes to walls and later hung straps from the ceiling to facilitate and enhance poses in relation to one’s need and abilities

Aerial Yoga is a mix of yoga, acrobatics, Pilates and physical therapy. Mostly, it is easier than normal yoga because we use swings to support our bodyweight so our muscles don’t work as hard. The swings allow us to move more freely, stretch easier, attain correct alignment and do advanced poses such as handstands and inversions. Aerial offers great therapeutic benefits by using gravity to stretch the spine, relieve back pain and heal injuries

During this teacher training, please note that the consumption of meat, alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs is strictly prohibited. Breakfast will typically have two fruits and upma/poha/parathas/sprouts/idli. During lunch and dinner, you will typically have one portion of dal, vegetable curry, chapatis, and rice along with yogurt. Please be informed that no food will be provided on weekly off days, i.e. 3 days in the entire course.

Arrival by airplane

You can book a direct flight to Jolly Grant Airport (DED). It’s a 50-minute flight from Delhi airport. Usually its less than 50 USD. Please arrive before 1 pm on the starting date or 1 day earlier anytime (stay is complimentary however food is not provided on that day).

Arrival by car

Take a car (Uber) from Delhi airport directly to our location in Rishikesh. It is usually less than 50 USD.

Arrival by bus

You can book online for a bus ride from Delhi to Rishikesh here. Charges are usually less than 5 to 10 USD.

Arrival by train

Book train from Delhi to Haridwar Railway station. Charges start at 6 USD.
