This training draws on the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine, Yoga & Buddhist philosophy, yoga anatomy, and your own intuition for a one-of-a-kind transformative journey. In this training, you will learn the exercise theory of Yin yoga, the twelve regular Meridians, an introduction to the eight extraordinary Meridians, the flow of Qi (or energy), up to 25 most vital acupressure points to release tension, increase flexibility, and soothe body pains. Moreover, we will apply Western anatomy knowledge and recent research on fascia, to compile an approachable method to bring health and wellness to your body.
During this training course, you will stay at Villas Sayulita, an ideal hotel to relax and enjoy the nature. All of the villas are equipped with air-conditioner, refrigerator, kitchenette, basic utensils for cooking, a terrace with a patio, table set, and Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are equipped with hot showers and towels.
Villas Sayulita also has several facilities such as a vegetable garden where you can find their permaculture project, ecological bathrooms, compost and their lovely pets, a holistic center, smoothie bar, swimming pool with common area, and a temazcal. Temazcal is a traditional steam bath that has been used for both healing and ritual purposes in Mexico for hundreds or thousand years. It is a perfect place to purify yourself.
The quadruple shared room consists of two double beds. This room is great for cool, chill yogis who don't mind sharing a bed together. Annie Au Yoga will pair you up with someone of the same gender or for those coming with friends.
A big part of Yin practice is self-inquiry, our deep desire to get to the roots of our own suffering; let it be sadness, attachments, desires, anger, and worries. You will practice meditation daily and learn different techniques such as sound healing and Qi Gong to find tranquility in the mind.

Annie leads teacher training in Sri Lanka, Mexico, Thailand, and Bali and has certified over 250 students worldwide. Annie holds a bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Specializing in yoga anatomy, she infuses anatomy knowledge in her yoga classes to help students practice more intelligently and avoid injuries. Annie has the ability to lead a dynamic class filled with inversions with a duality of restorative and healing sequences.
This training will take place in Sayulita, Mexico. Sayulita is a beautiful village in the north of Puerto Vallarta, in the state of Nayarit. The location is perfect in a way that you are in between the quiet sandy beach and the heart of Sayulita town.

All of the meals served will be vegetarian meals. The menu is creative and balanced with proteins so you will feel full and satisfied. There is also a smoothie bar at the villa where you can order some delicious shakes. Drinking water is provided at the villa. Ale is an experienced chef from Mexico specialized in vegetarian cuisines. Get nourished by her specialties like vegan tacos al pastor, mole with Mexican red quinoa, coconut and mango ceviche, chilaquiles with beans, and lavender infused water.
