As a part of a 200-hour yoga teacher certification, this course provides a comprehensive curriculum in training, teaching methodology, anatomy, yoga philosophy, and practicum (teaching). During this training course, you will stay at Villas Sayulita, an ideal hotel to relax and enjoy the nature. All of the villas are equipped with air-conditioner, refrigerator, kitchenette, basic utensils for cooking, a terrace with a patio, table set, and Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are equipped with hot showers and towels.
Villas Sayulita also has several facilities such as a vegetable garden where you can find their permaculture project, ecological bathrooms, compost and their lovely pets, a holistic center, smoothie bar, swimming pool with common area, and a temazcal. Temazcal is a traditional steam bath that has been used for both healing and ritual purposes in Mexico for hundreds or thousand years. It is a perfect place to purify yourself.
The quadruple shared room consists of two double beds. This room is great for cool, chill yogis who don't mind sharing a bed together. Annie Au Yoga will pair you up with someone of the same gender or for those coming with friends.
Based on the ideology of Taoism, adopting the phenomenon of observing nature’s order, Yin yoga is a gateway to enhancing a person's overall well-being by removing tension in the body and mind. Yin yoga is increasingly in demand as more people are suffering from stress and physical ailments.
Yin yoga is also a sustaining self-practice that you can do regardless of age, ability, and other conditions. Yin yoga is a perfect complimentary to alleviate physical pain and mental stress. Annie Au Yoga recommends applicants have at least six months of regular yoga practice before joining the course.
By completing Annie Au Yoga's 100-hour Yin yoga teacher training, you will receive a 100-hour certification which applies towards 200-hour yoga teacher training program. Upon completion, you will receive a 100-hour specific certification. Afterward, you will need to complete the other Yin or Yang hours to obtain the full 200-hour Yoga Alliance certificate.
You will explore all of the classical Yin postures including practice methodology, contraindication, and modifications with or without props. You will also learn some of the non-classical postures that are as beneficial.
Qi means life-force, also known as prana in Sanskrit. You will learn about the major meridians associated with Yin yoga practice. Discover the five Yin organs and emotions and how to cultivate Qi with simple exercises.

Anatomy, as understood in the West, is different from the East; both are essential. Here you will explore the fundamental of various physiological systems, compression, tension, and physical assessments.
Teaching is a skill to be cultivated. You will learn how to communicate with your students, conveying your messages to them smoothly.
Find out how to theme your class based on various topics. These may include physical target areas, energetic aspects like chakras, heart-opening, and grounding.
Your practice, Iike your life, is a balancing act. During the training, you will learn how to steady your mind, body, and spirit with a Yin-Yang balanced practice.
This training will take place in Sayulita, Mexico. Sayulita is a beautiful village in the north of Puerto Vallarta, in the state of Nayarit. The location is perfect in a way that you are in between the quiet sandy beach and the heart of Sayulita town.
