On your road to becoming a soulful and confident Yin yoga teacher, your inner practice is a priority. In this program, Annie Au Yoga will focus on helping you to discover your personal physical variations (skeletal and muscular) and to stimulate emotional growth through self-awareness and self-love. It takes courage to shed the worldly identities. Annie Au Yoga has created a safe sanctuary for you to heal, learn, grow, and share!

Your 100-hour training curriculum

  • Daily practice of Yin yoga, qigong, pranayama, and meditation
  • Exercise theory of Yin yoga
  • The main differences between practicing Yin and Yang yoga
  • Skeletal differences: tension versus compression
  • Study of fascial research and relevance to your emotional expression
  • Leaning into your physical and emotional edges
  • Postural clinic
  • Develop a foundational Yin practice
  • The fundamentals of TCM, five elements, Yin Yang theory, the functions and disharmonies of qi interactions of the five elements, and association with common psychosomatic disorders
  • Integrating Yin yoga poses to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit based on the five elements model
  • Intro to the eight extraordinary vessels
  • In-depth study of the communication network of your body subsystems: cardiovascular, fascial, and nervous system
  • Myofascia research and functional range conditioning lectures, applying knowledge to a practical setting, and understanding your body through kinaesthetic movement (yoga and non-yoga based)

  • Buddhist philosophy: karma and emptiness

There will be one day off during the program. Annie Au Yoga can recommend sightseeing areas and things to do nearby. You’re also welcomed to relax by the pool, go on nature walks, canoeing and simply relax. The schedule is subject to change. Your flexibility will allow Annie Au Yoga to create the best schedule possible for you.

Food

Green Light Cafe is your healthiest stop in Thailand. It is one of the most popular (and few) places in Koh Samui, Green Light Café offers delicious healthy cuisines with vegetarian, vegan, chicken, and fish options. Their food is mostly locally sourced and many come from their own organic garden. During the training, you’ll be ordering à la carte, choosing the meals you want in advance and daily. This way, you can enjoy designing the meals that most suit your taste and lifestyle.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Koh Samui Airport code is USM. There are many direct flights or connecting flights via Bangkok to Samui. The popular airlines are Bangkok Air and Thai Airways. The training home is only 15 minutes from the airport by car.

Once you have booked your flights, please send Annie Au Yoga the itinerary. Annie Au Yoga can help to arrange your airport pick up. For car share, Annie Au Yoga can let you know the pick-up time and cost one week prior to your arrival. Airport to Elysia is approximately 400 THB per car (up to 3 guests) and600 THB per van (up to 8 guests and luggage).

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
