  • In this 100hr Yin Yoga Eastern Training, we will explore in length the energetic physiology and anatomy based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through an Eastern perspective, you'll find how our emotions are constantly intertwined with our external and internal health. From thousands of years ago, the Chinese started to explore various ways to increase vitality. Along the way, they discovered that optimal health can only be achieved through equanimity of the physical, energetic and spiritual self.

    During this training course, you will stay at Villas Sayulita, an ideal hotel to relax and enjoy the nature. All of the villas are equipped with air-conditioning, refrigerator, kitchenette, basic utensils for cooking, a terrace with a patio, table set, and Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are equipped with hot showers and towels.

    There are three room options available for this retreat: single room, double shared room, and quadruple shared room. All rooms are shared with the same gender. Quadruple room with shared beds are available for friends coming together. If you are a solo student interested in the quadruple rooms, Annie Au Yoga will try their best to accommodate you if there is availability.

    Villas with two double beds

    The room is equipped with double beds and is for maximum four people. It is also equipped with air-conditioning, refrigerator, kitchenette, basic utensils for cooking, a terrace with a patio, table set, and Wi-Fi.

    Villas with king size beds

    The king size bedrooms have also a slide out double bed. This room is for maximum four people, equipped with air-conditioning, refrigerator, kitchenette, basic utensils for cooking, a terrace with a patio, table set, and Wi-Fi.

    Penthouses roof palapas

    Villas Sayulita has two penthouses and each of them have two cabins where one has two king size beds, a TV room, kitchenette with refrigerator, and bathroom. The other cabin has a king size bed, its own bathroom, and a terrace area with seating and equipales table. It is maximum for six people.

    In addition, Villas Sayulita also has several facilities such as a vegetable garden where you can find their permaculture project, ecological bathrooms, compost, and their lovely pets, a holistic center, smoothie bar, swimming pool with common area, and a temazcal. Temazcal is a traditional steam bath that has been used for both healing and ritual purposes in Mexico for hundreds or thousand years. It is a perfect place to purify yourself.

Based on the ideology of Taoism, adopting the basic phenomenon of observing nature’s order, Yin yoga is a gateway to enhancing a person's overall well-being by removing tension in the body and mind.

    In today's fast-paced world, Yin yoga is increasingly in demand as more people are suffering from stress and physical ailments. This is also a sustaining self-practice that you can do regardless of age, agility, and other conditions. For those who have a high intensity yoga practice or sports training, Yin yoga is a perfect complimentary to alleviate physical pain and mental stress.

    This course is ideal for those who expressed deep interested in cultivating equanimity in the body, mind, and spirit. Minimum six months of yoga experience is recommended.

    • Annie Au

      Annie leads teacher trainings in Thailand and Bali and has certified over 190 students worldwide. Annie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Specializing in yoga anatomy, she infuses anatomy knowledge in her yoga classes to help students practice more intelligently and avoid injuries. Annie has the ability to lead a dynamic class filled with inversions with a duality of restorative and healing sequences.

    • Word Smith

      Word Smith has been practicing the esoteric or healing arts for 20 years. During this time, he has delved deeply into massage, yoga, Qi Gong, Chinese medicine, Buddhist philosophy, and internal martial arts. He holds a doctorate in medical Qi Gong, a bachelor’s in Philosophy, a black belt in taekwondo, certifications in five body work styles, and a 500-hour of yoga teacher training. His teachers include Paul Pitchford, Michael Tierra, Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson, Geshe Michael Roach, and Sri Dharma Mittra.

    The yoga teacher training will be held in Villas Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. Nayarit is a small state in western Mexico between the forested mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental and the Pacific Ocean. Situated in a wonderful magical place, just a short walk from the main town and the beach, it is the perfect location for your activities.

    To practice Ahimsa (non-violence), all of the meals served will be vegetarian meals. Enjoy delicious and healthy dishes like vegan mole with Mexican red quinoa, tacos al pastor, mango coconut ceviche, or chilaquiles with beans. The menu is creative and balanced with proteins so you will feel full and satisfied. There is also a smoothie bar at the villa where you can order some delicious shakes. Drinking water is provided at the villa.

    Arrival by airplane

    Please book your flight to arrive at Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). You are advised to reserve your Sayulita transportation directly from one of the reliable taxi and transportation service companies in Sayulita who offer round-trip services to take you safely to Villas Sayulita and take you back to the airport on time for your departure. It will take about an hour by car or taxi.
