I enjoyed the Philosophy teacher Vijeth and the other students were great.

    - The accommodations were terrible. Very unclean with mold all over the walls. Our rooms were not cleaned by the staff and if the facilities were cleaned by the staff there was no soap or disinfectant used to kill the bacteria. It was the most unclean conditions I've ever seen anywhere. It was DISGUSTING!

    - The yoga rooms were very unclean as well. The ceiling was falling down and I asked several times to have them cleaned to no avail.

    - Our first yoga instructor was not teaching us how to teach. On day 2 she had us trying very advanced poses without explaining/showing the progression of how to get into this pose. This is dangerous and promotes injury. We asked to change the teacher which was accomodated.

-Deepti, the yoga teacher and anatomy teacher was not receptive to questions and made the students feel bad if they didn't understand something. This discouraged the learning process.

I had a great time there. The teachers are very knowledgeable, the staff very friendly, the food was simple but delicious and the accommodation cozy. No complaints. Kalimpong is a unique place to stay if you want to see the culture diversity, the Tibetan monasteries and the mountains. I usde to be a Yoga beginner before the TTC but now I know why Yoga really means, it's not only about the Asanas but a life style because you understand why you are doing it. I highly recommend the school.

This has been one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. We (my fellow student companions and I) were in hands of not only incredible human beings, but people that guided us in the most amazing ways. I learned so so much more than I could ever thought in the course of a month. I can say one thousand times, that this Teacher Training is so very complete and special. The fact that it is located in Kalimpong is also a great plus, since there are so many things to learn around. I also have a very special memory of Holumba Haven, our accommodation spot. It belongs to a beautiful warm family that make it all so very easy and comfortable. Cottages are beautiful, silence surrounds it, and it is full of lights and plants. Animals are all around (surprisingly super quiet), and fun top be around of. Food is nothing less than incredible. Satvic is their description and it is nothing less than that. I had the beautiful feeling when I left that my life had been guided into a beautiful routine, with beautiful food inside me and beautiful words and actions. It is all fresh, vegetarian and made with so much love from the sweet people in the kitchen. It is an incredible experience to be surrounded by such wise people. I finally put together the pieces of yoga when I learned so much about philosophy with Nikhil, which will answer any question, at any time. I also gained spiritual calm and loss of fear by being guided by Deepti, one of the wisest most beautiful human beings I have met. Dehire, our Asana teacher, is also one amazing teacher. Incredible discipline and fantastic way of explaining Asana. Thank you. Thank you to all of you. I can only say that coming to Kalimpong and being a part of a YTT not only will give you a Certification as an excellent teacher, it will also give you a spiritual family and teachings that you never thought you would hold. I recommend with all my heart.

A unique and memorable experience that incorporated the essential elements relating to the mind, body and spirit of yoga. This course does an excellent job at contextualizing the concept of Hatha Yoga and its founding philosophy, while you develop physically and technically as an instructor. It broadens your understanding of each asana and pranayama technique connecting the body, breath and mind. I am extremely glad I chose this course, as it is located in a beautiful location and instructed by well-intentioned instructors that embody the spirit of true Yoga.
