The three major styles of the practice — yoga through breathing, yoga through postures, and yoga through meditation — are all geared toward self-discovery and emancipation. Hatha yoga is a style of yoga that primarily emphasizes breathing exercises. The technique used to manage breath is called pranayama. A few of the pranayamas that are frequently performed during yoga retreats are Kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom, Brahmri, etc.
In yoga, a position is known as an asana. Asana practice is a part of several types of yoga, including Hatha and Ashtanga. Each pose aims to settle the practitioner's mind and hold it still for varying lengths of time, either directly or indirectly. During the retreat, a typical day at the facility will consist of two yoga classes and a meditation session. Throughout the retreat, you will have the chance to speak with the yoga instructors and Ayurvedic doctors outside of sessions. Reejo Ji is a certified yoga instructor and has 10 years of teaching experience. Reejo was one of the lead trainers at Yoga Vimoksha, Goa, and a yoga and wellness consultant at Sanda Retreats. He started his career as a multimedia specialist but soon realized his true passion lies in yoga, so he began his yogic journey. A strong believer that; ‘Knowledge should come from different sources. If it came from the same source, it becomes stiff and stale’, Reejo ji has learned and amassed his yogic knowledge from different teachers and has adapted to different styles over the years.
Gaurav has a PhD in Hatha yoga from Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar India. He's also a Master in Yoga from Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar India. He worked as a yoga director at Yoga Niketan Ashram and Hatha Yoga Center in Shanghai, China. Between 2008-2009, he worked as a Yoga Director at Will's Gym Company, in Shanghai, China.

For those making the journey to Rishikesh, they recommend taking a train until Haridwar and then either taking a bus or taxi to Rishikesh.
