A holiday yoga village at the quiet and serene south end of Palolem Beach in South Goa. Anand Yoga Village offers a daily schedule of all things yoga, a menu of healthy and delicious food, and lovely beach huts to stay in.
If you are interested in learning a new yoga practice or developing your current practice. If you want to stay a week or the whole season, all are welcome to come and join them in creating and enjoying a simple, beachside yoga lifestyle together.
Anand Yoga Village is a community of individuals who want to enjoy their practice of yoga in the beautiful surroundings of Palolem, Goa. Anand Yoga is all-inclusive and suitable for all ability levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners who simply want to focus on their personal practice.
The rolling daily program includes asana practice, meditation, Yoga Nidra, pranayama, chanting sutras, Restorative or Yin yoga, and much more. The program includes time each day to explore Palolem and the surrounding areas, get to know your fellow practitioners, eat together, and rest. The staff are knowledgeable on local attractions and can provide advice and guidance, so just ask!

This yoga village is situated in the quiet village of Ourem, just a two-minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the beach, at the south end of Palolem. As they are set back from the main roads and beach, it provides a tranquil and relaxing setting, conducive to the yoga lifestyle.
Anand Yoga Village has for your comfort; newly constructed wooden cabins, featuring large windows which means lots of air and light, with fans inside and on the veranda. Decorated simply, with quality cotton bedding and all the facilities to make your stay comfortable, pleasant, and memorable.
Room options are three-bed sharing, twin, or single occupancy. So whether you are planning on bringing a friend or prefer your privacy, all possibilities and budgets are catered for.
Anand Yoga Village also has a communal relaxation space, located on the other side of a small stream on our property, a place to eat, talk, read, or just sit and enjoy some time for you.
With a schedule offering up to four classes and workshops a day, including asana, meditation, pranayama, chanting, yoga theory, asana masterclasses, and much more, you can choose your own holistic practice and routine at Anand Yoga Village, with the aim to promote your balanced well-being.
While Anand Yoga Village encourage you to participate in, and get as much out of your time with them as possible, you also have the freedom to explore the surrounding areas, or rest and restore on the sand.
Classes are led by the nurturing and lighthearted yoga teachers, who each have their individual teachings and experiences to bring to you, so you have a variety of styles and disciplines to choose from.
A typical day will starts at 06:30 for the early birds session. At 09:00, you will join class, and at the afternoon there will be workshop where you will delve a little more deeply into the many aspects yoga has to offer, and a nightly session of either yoga Nidra, guided meditation, or restorative or yin, to set you up for a sound sleep. All of the classes include some asana, pranayama, and meditation.
At Anand, the aim is to be inclusive, so no matter your experience, ability, age or anything else, we welcome you to practice with them. The teachers will find a way to accommodate, adapt, and modify for your needs, as they truly believe yoga to be a system of techniques and guidance for enriched living, one that everyone can benefit from!
The main purpose of yoga is to bring a balanced flow of energy to the body, thereby calming and balancing the mind. The methods to achieve this include physical practice (asana), breath control and expansion (pranayama), and concentration or mindfulness (meditation).
Anand Yoga Village will be sharing with you some of these methods during your stay, with the hope that you are able to develop a personal practice to take home with you.
In 2013, Kelly completed a teaching Diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga, and since then has been teaching in London, Sydney and have spent the past twelve months setting up and running Anand Yoga Village. Kelly believe one’s relationship with yoga to be ever changing and evolving, that one can never stop learning, which means she is constantly educating herself further through study. Her main goal as a yoga teacher, is to share her love and knowledge of the yoga tradition with others, and hope it inspires change, and the desire to grow and explore, as it has her.

Wouldn't it be amazing if every meal you ate infused you with a feeling of well-being? Well that is the aim in every meal at Anand Yoga Village. They believe fresh is best, that yoga food should be simple, wholesome and nutritious, so they offer a variety of tasty and colourful food to revitalize the body, excite the taste buds and keep you feeling light and healthy.
As an early morning lift and hydrate, Anand Yoga Village offer fresh fruit, then at breakfast you can expect to help yourself to fruit salad, smoothie bowls, bircher muesli, curd, wholemeal toast with honey, nuts, seeds and dried fruits and fresh, quality coffee and tea. For lunch a variety of light and healthy snacks are available, wholesome meals such as rice-stuffed peppers or eggplant, healthy vegetarian pasta’s, guacamole, buddha bowls, Thai style noodles, Nepalese food, a variety of salads and soups and so much more keep you feeling satisfied. There is no set menu, every week is different. They have unlimited filtered water.

From the airport, one can either hire a pre-paid taxi, to Ourem, Palolem, or for a cheaper option take a bus to Madgao, and from there to Palolem. For more details please do contact us, as we do help with airport transfers.
