Goa is connected to Mumbai (Bombay), the commercial capital of India by 45 minutes long daily flights besides being connected to other important cities within India such as Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai (Madras) etc. Nestled amidst five acres of lush greenery, swaying coconut palms and embraced by the mystical river Mandovi - "Devaaya" is located on a beautiful island, where is a perfect location. Located nearby is the beautiful Mediterranean capital city in Goa known as Panaji. The resort’s unique location on an island embraced by the meandering Mandovi river is accessible by road cum river ferry or by a 20 minutes boat ride from Panaji.
The menu for the esteemed guests is personally prepared by Bijay J. Anand, in consultation with Ayurveda and naturopathic doctors of Devaaya. Delicious vegetarian Indian cuisine, balanced to nourish the three doshas of kapha, vata and pita. The cuisine is designed to be healing and detoxifying. Food prepared for Anahata Retreats is specially designed and structured to be providing optimal nutrition and health benefits to its participants. No one is allowed to bring in outside food into the retreat and consume such food that is not provided by Anahata.
