How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). Flights are offered from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Dehradun Airport (DED) for very affordable prices. Often prices are cheaper than taking a taxi. The flight is approximately 45 minutes. Depending on what airline you fly with, you may have to take a bus to the correct terminal but this is very easy.

Please be aware that once you leave the airport upon arriving, they will not let you back inside. If you are worried you missed your taxi or you still have to exchange money, please do not exit the building until you are ready to leave.

Arrival by bus

This is certainly the cheapest way to get to the teacher training venue. It can take approximately seven to ten hours depending on traffic. You will have to get to the correct bus station. This option is not recommended for those who get motion sickness. If you choose this option, once you arrive in Rishikesh, you will have to take a tuk-tuk to Laxman Jhula and have to walk the last one kilometers with your luggage.

Arrival by train

You can get a train to Haridwar from Delhi, this will take approximately five to seven hours depending on the service you use. Cost can vary from approximately 500 to 1,200 INR, depending on which class you choose for travel. Once in Haridwar, you will need to take a taxi to get to Rishikesh. Anadi Yoga Centre can arrange taxi pick-ups, which costs approximately 20 SD. Please email Anadi Yoga Centre your travel arrangements as soon as possible to allow them time to book your transportation.

Arrival by taxi

This is usually the most expensive option but can be quite convenient for first time visitors as you can leave directly from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) without having to venture out into the city. The ride from Delhi to Rishikesh can take anywhere from six to eight hours depending on traffic. Anadi Yoga Centre can arrange taxi pick up for you. A one-way trip from Delhi to Rishikesh will cost 70 USD.

This price will decrease should Anadi Yoga Centre is able to pair you up with someone else arriving around the same time. Anadi Yoga Centre will contact you if other students are arriving around the same time so you can share a taxi. Please email Anadi Yoga Centre your travel arrangements as soon as possible to allow them time to book your transportation.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 100% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
