Sitting on top of a beautiful Keralan hillside, Amrutham yoga and Ayurvedic treatment center is comprised of three sites that lie in close walking distance from one another. The elegant guesthouse, recently constructed in 2008, combines Kerala's ancient beauty with modern luxurious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The entire building and landscaping has been carefully designed and crafted in accordance with the principles of Vaastu (Indian equivalent of Feng shui) in order to maximize the well-being of all guests. The roof top restaurant area is the ideal spot to enjoy delicious Keralan cuisine from Auntie Usha's kitchen. Sit back and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding forest, diverse bird-life and relax in this natural habitat. The generously sized swimming pool is ideal for relaxation during the day and perfect for moonlit swims at night.

Proper care of the body is essential in balancing the three basic principles of the human body Vatha, Pitha, and Kapha. Purifying and immunizing the body, reducing ageing processes, minimizing stress, slimming, beauty-care are all made possible by suitable Ayurvedic treatments, yoga, and proper diet. The yoga and meditation sessions will be taught by experts in the field. You will have 2 hours of yoga in the morning, mainly Hatha yoga, focusing on physical and mental strength building exercises and postures, which help in relaxing the body and in fighting stress of the modern world. The meditation will be for an hour, in the evenings, near the picturesque Vellayani lake or the meditation rock, which is a haven of tranquility. If you are interested you can also join discussions and circle times, where the philosophy of yoga and importance of Vedic living are discussed. You will be able to do the following:
