How the training works

There will be 40 hours of live sessions and 10 hours of recorded sessions. This training reaches over one month from mid-November to mid-December with live sessions every other weekend. You will have access to all Zoom lives and recorded videos and unconditional support during and after training.

Curriculum information

This training is for anyone eager to embark on a journey towards holding space for Yin yoga sessions or anyone who has already taught but aspires for more tools and a more embodied way of facilitating space. You can also join simply for your own practice, to deepen your exploration, its teaching is not for you. This training covers in-depth knowledge of Yin.

Including teachings and practices such as a deeper understanding of the main Yin poses and the effects on the human body ranging from fascia and nervous system to the perspective of subtle anatomy including Chinese medicine in relation to yoga: the five elements, meridian theory, and acupressure, trauma-sensitive in yoga, Taoism and Tantra (not neo-Tantra), tools for self-healing, the power of holding space, authentic teaching, and much more!

Module 1

What is Yin, history, Yin and Yang theory, foundations of the practice and Yin yoga poses, physical, mental, emotional, and energetical reasons to practice and breath in Yin.

Module 2

Overview of Chinese medicine and how it relates to yoga practice, the five elements according to Chinese medicine, connecting the 5 elements, organs, seasons, and emotions.

Module 3

Vital substances (qi, blood, shen), principles and origin of disease, pathogens and how to assess and determine imbalances, Ayurveda and Chinese medicine.
