Deepen your yoga and meditation practice and give yourself a spiritual renewal in an old growth forest on the shores of Lake Rupanco in stunning Chile. Join yoga instructors Toby Pritchard, Cynthia Cittadino, and Christine Idilbi and awaken your soul through the power of yoga. Experience yoga for higher awareness, silent meditation, mantras, chakra healing sessions, a campfire star gazing night, and yogic philosophy practice.
Anyone over the age of 18 years are welcome as participants.
During this retreat, you will stay either in a private or a shared room with en-suite bathroom. The main building at Rupanco Lodge currently can accommodate up to 16 guests and has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Option for tent camping in the forest is also available if you bring your own tent.
This room is a lake view private suite with queen size bed, wood burning stove, and en-suite bathroom.
If you prefer to sleep in the magical forest, camping options are available.
The Lodge has four shared bedrooms with shared bathrooms. Each bedroom has the capacity for two to five people, hosting singles and bunk beds with a double bed for couples available upon request.
This retreat will take place at the Rupanco Lodge in Los Lagos, Chile. The permaculture farm is a breathtaking sanctuary surrounded by an old growth forest and the Lake Rupanco shore. The farm consists of 600 acres and diverse gardens that act as the hub of all agricultural activities that take place.
Everyday you will practice Ananda yoga in a morning and afternoon session. Aside from being a great workout, this practice releases tension in the body and focuses the mind in preparation for meditation. You will also practice Kundalini yoga that focuses on aligning the energetic centers or chakras increasing the flow of Prana, the life force, and expanding your consciousness.
You will also dedicate two hours a day to immerse yourself in meditation and Satsang. Satsang is a Sanskrit term that means “Gathering in Truth” or “True Company”. The speaker or spiritual teacher guides the members of the Sangha or community toward their own self realization and liberation by answering their questions and pointing to the timeless truth. Through awareness mediation, you can still the mind and return to a state of total presence and peace.
During this retreat, you will spend time in Bhakti sessions. You will open your heart to love and share what you deeply care about. When you love and have compassion for self and others, you open the channel to give and receive freely. You will spend time under the stars and around the campfire singing songs Bhajans, playing music that inspires love, devotion, and gratitude to spirit.
This retreat offers a variety of post-breakfast classes such as the totality of yoga, universal religion, understanding the mind, an Ayurvedic cooking class, and conscious relationships.
You will also participate in heart opening activities such as expressive dance, a Temazcal session, and a 45-minute complimentary massage. The retreat will give you four hours a day of free time to spend time in solitude, reflect and enjoy nature or to enjoy evening optional activities.
Please book your flight to arrive at Santiago International Airport (SCL). From there, you can fly either to Aeródromo Carlos Hott Siebert Airport (ZOS) or El Tepual International Airport (PMC). Transfer from and to these airports is included. Aluantu will pick you up from the airport.
From Osorno you will need to take a bus to Santa Elvira, el Encanto, Puyehue. There is a bus at 14:00 and at 16:30 Monday through Friday, on Saturday there is one bus at 15:00 and on Sunday there are no buses. The buses do not leave from the main bus station. The 14:00 bus leaves from the municipal market about a block and a half from the bus station toward the center of town (towards the East), the bus leaves from a small court yard parking lot (smaller local bus station) across the street from the Unimark (to the South) and the municipal market (next to it on the East).
The 16:30 bus leaves from the other end of the municipal market on Pratt street between the Plaza Yungay and the Copec station on Pratt street. Saturday buses alternate from week to week so you’ll have to check both the court yard and Prat street unfortunately. Aluantu offers bus pick ups and drop offs at the end of the line at Santa Elvira. Please inform Aluantu your planned arrival date and time in advance.
During the summer in Patagonia you can experience mostly warm sunny days with cool star-filled nights but can occasionally experience rainy days too.
Beach towel , down jacket or warm sweater, flip flops, headlamp, rain jacket, sun block lotion, sun glasses, sun hat, sun screen, swimsuit, walking and hiking shoes, warm socks, writing journal or note book, and yoga mat.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cynthia has been practicing yoga since childhood. Following her inner guidance, she became a certified instructor in Hatha yoga and has been teaching for four years. She has developed a style that is suitable for all levels of participation, both gentle and stimulating, therapeutic, and rejuvenating. Cynthia also has a certificate in Reiki Usui. She loves to share her energy with people, animals and the Earth to promote well being and peace.
Born in England, Toby is a certified instructor in yoga for Higher Awareness and rock climbing. After five years of seeking answers in the mountains, Toby arrived in India where he discovered the transformative path of Gyana yoga, the yoga of wisdom which led to his study of yoga for Higher Awareness. He has found inspiration and fulfillment in sharing this pathway to inner peace and freedom. Toby’s wise and playful disposition, centered-ness, make it a delight when he uses the ropes on the mat.
Christine has been teaching professionally for 13 years and is certified in pilates and yoga for Higher Awareness. After owning her own pilates studio in Northern California, she moved to Chile to share the joy and inner peace that she has discovered. Christine welcomes a warm-hearted inward practice, playfulness, and balance in all of her classes.
During this retreat, you will be given a healthy vegetarian diet. All three meals will be supplied from the permaculture gardens and catered to your Ayurvedic body type along with a complimentary Aryuvedic cooking class.
During this retreat, you will enjoy a complimentary 45-minute massage from the Aluantu certified and experienced massage therapists. You may also enjoy other spa services for an additional cost.
During your free time, you may relax by enjoying the surrounding nature, explore the multiple gardens at the Rupanco, take a swim in the lake, read a good book, or enjoy some nature walks and hikes.
