During this retreat, you will stay in shared accommodations in the historic Landhotel Altes Zollhaus, a 41-room accommodation in a very quiet place on the peaks of the Eastern Erzgebirge and Ore Mountains, at an altitude of 800 meters. The hotel is surrounded by 60,000 square meters of sprawling meadows and a forest area with its own lake.
The location is ideal for hiking; you will find numerous hiking routes and bicycle paths with sign posts to explore. On the grounds of the Landhotel Altes Zollhaus, you will find a barbecue and relaxing area, as well as the opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of the resident deer and horses outside your window.
The hotel offers artfully decorated single and double rooms and there is complimentary wireless internet available in the rooms for your convenience. All rooms are equipped with a shower and bath, water closet, hairdryer, shower gel, telephone, alarm clock radio, and satellite television. Extra beds and children’s beds are available on request.
During this retreat, you will have the opportunity to feel and discover your chakras within. Every day, you will take part of chakrawork, with at least four hours of yoga, meditation, and walking meditation daily.

Anja Mond started with yoga 30 years ago in a very traditional way in India. Later on, she met other masters in New York, where she was living. She joined Integral yoga by Soami Satchitananda and worked out in a Hatha yoga way combined with pranayama and meditation. Back in Germany, she studied at the academy for yoga in Berlin and joined workshops with Kali Ray on TriYoga flow. Anja Mond is also an NLP coach and the founder of Yoga Carpe Diem, her own YogaStudio in Stralsund. She creates her own yoga retreats with yoga and coaching called ChakraJourney, which she offers in many countries.
The retreat will take place on the peaks of the Eastern Erzgebirge and Ore Mountains, close to the Czech border, in Erzgebirge, Germany.

The location is ideal for hiking; you will find numerous hiking routes and bicycle paths with sign posts to explore. Cross-country, skiing, and sledding are all just outside the hotel door.
Please book your flight to arrive at Dresden Airport (DRS). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request.
From Dresden central station (Dresden Hbf), take S-Bahn S1 or S2 until Heidenau. There, change to Regionalbahn RB72 direction Altenberg (Erzgebirge) and take bus number 360 to Altenberg railway station.
"I had a wonderful time. The yoga practice was a teacher who really enjoyed his profession. The Ayurvedic food was delicious. The several saunas' in the wellness area were new and clean. Well, the value for money is just outstanding."
"Only minor thing to be aware of is that the hotel is not purely focused on yoga, Ayurveda, or wellness. So you also find there a pizzeria, Italian delicatessen, and a ski-room for those who like langlauf. The hotel really has this 'gemutlich' atmosphere. If you go here, a trip to Seiffen is really recommended, to buy the typical wooden German Christmas products. The shops are also open on Sundays and that is quite unique in Germany country."

"We stayed here to go to the various Christmas markets in the small towns. We were checked in with a warm drink. The owner was very friendly and helped us plan out our market journeys. We had a half-pension breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was typical, meats, cheeses, fruit, eggs, and lots of coffee. Dinner was from a selection of three entrées and every night was different. Everything we ate was delicious. Our rooms were comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you are going to be in this area."

"We booked here for one night only on our way from Vienna to Berlin, and that's a shame because I would happily stay there for longer, especially when I realized that it's a stone's throw from Glashutte, German watchmaker's heartland. The hotel is really nice, with this special charm of a family run guest house. Rooms are very clean and cozy and the breakfast is really nice. Very nice service as well and although you may find it difficult to communicate in English, I would not consider it an issue though."

"This German hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. We were pleasantly surprised, as it was a last minute booking and we didn't have a lot of availability to choose from. It was warm and cozy and the only problem we encountered was the fact that we only speak English, even though we live in Germany, and only know enough German to squeek by. The front desk was very helpful, the rooms were cozy and clean, there was free Wi-Fi, and the restaurant was to die for. One waiter spoke good English and the other one a little bit. We are so happy we stayed here even though we were afraid we were going to get stuck in the snow on the very narrow road to the hotel; the wind was blowing hard and there were no snow plows anywhere. We did make it and were happy to be checked in and settled for the night."
