Eight unique days of yoga practice and sailing are expecting you this summer in Greece. We will be sailing every Saturday from Alimos marina or Lavrion marina in Athens to the Cycladic islands. We will be visiting five beautiful Greek islands and practicing yoga two times per day on beautiful unspoiled sandy beaches! Experienced and professional Skippers and yoga teachers. On board, there are available 2 or 3 double cabins for quests,and one cabin or bunk for the crew, 1 to 2 WC's with showers, a fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold water, an electric refrigerator & an outside shower. Also, all boats are fully equipped and fully insured for chartering.

Program

This is a sailing trip tailored for the travelers who would like to learn how to sail practice yoga on deserted sandy beaches and feel free and relaxed. Please be informed that the itineraries can change due to the weather conditions.

Day 1

After a short briefing about your safety during the trip, you will sail east to Lavrion Marina where you will spend the night.

Day 2

You will sail 22 nautical miles southeast to Kythnos with a stop to Kolones bay for our yoga practice, and you will spend the night in Merichas Marina.

Day 3

From Kythnos, you will sail 17 nautical miles south to Serifos, with your yoga practice taking place on the uninhabited island Serifopoula.

Day 4

From Serifos, next stop is 10 nautical miles south to Sifnos, where you will do your daily practice on the sandy beach, and you will spend the night in Kamares.

Day 5

From Sifnos, you will sail 29 nautical miles northeast to the beautiful island of Syros, and you will practice yoga in Grammata a beautiful beach where you can see poems written on the rocks 2,500 years ago. You will spend the night in Finikas Marina.

Day 6

From Syros, you will sail 30 nautical miles west to Kea island. You will practice yoga facing the ancient town of Karthaia, and we will spend the night in Koundouros Bay.

Day 7

You will sail west for 40 nautical miles back to Alimos Marina, where you will spend our last night. From the marina, you can visit the center of Athens by tram (45-minute ride).

Disembarkation.

Food

Please note that meals are not included in this trip. What we usually do before departure is to go to the supermarket and buy provisions for our breakfast and light lunches on board. When you get to the ports you are having dinner at the local tavernas. Food in Greece is not expensive. Calculate for food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) 150 to 200 EUR for the whole week.

Things to do (optional)

Every day, you will sail to another island (3-6 hours of sailing daily) we have plenty of time to visit the main town (Chora) and walk around the small streets, swim in crystal clear waters (in some marinas, you can dive from the boat), and have a dinner to the local tavernas (cost of a dinner is around 15 EUR). In Loutra Kythnos, you can have a bath in thermal waters (you can find information on the internet).

From Athens International Airport, you will get the x96 BUS just outside of the terminal the cost of the ticket is 6 EUR (included) and they will wait for you at Edem bus station or by taxi with a cost of 50 EUR (included only for groups 4 plus persons).

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
