CONS Cons: The only negative was the communication leading up to the retreat. I was unsure who I should be dealing with at times as there seemed to be a lot of companies involved and I had to chase them a few times to make payment and find out what was happening with pick ups etc.

PROS Pros: Emma is a really good instructor and puts a lot of effort into planning her classes and explaining things in a clear and concise manner. The time flew by and I was always left wanting more. Cassie and Simon were also great hosts and constantly went out their way to help me for example when I went out for a run, Simon came with me as I said I was good at getting lost and Cassie made sure we had a late transfer back to the airport for our late flight so we could spend more time in the mountains! I would definitely recommend it and food was also excellent.

    Wonderful experience

CONS Cons: It was all great - I will definitely return. The on-line form somehow didn't let me rate the instructor, but it is a perfect rating for sure!

PROS Pros: The food was amazing and the hosts Cassie and Si were delightful to spend time with. Emma is an excellent yoga instructor. She catered to a group with a variety of levels and made it a meaningful and appropriate practice for each of us. I enjoyed all the different styles of yoga she taught and appreciated her individual attention outside of the organised sessions. We all had fun trying the SUP yoga. The surroundings are beautiful and the yoga sessions outdoors at the abbey were out of this world.

A magical weekend yoga retreat in the gorgeous Alps

CONS Cons: Nothing - it was really wonderful and I can't fault anything!

PROS Pros: I can honestly say I loved everything about this retreat!! The weekend was planned to perfection, with just the right amount of planned activities and free time, dynamic yoga and relaxing yoga, and nutritious food with the odd yummy cake, croissant or beer thrown in. The yoga was brilliant: I learned so much in each of the classes and I thought that Emma's corrections and tips were spot on. She was able to cater for different levels in the group and safely helped us to get into new postures and deepen our practise. All the different classes were great but the SUP yoga was the absolute highlight of the weekend! Cassie and Simon were fantastic hosts and the chalet was comfortable and very homey, with lovely views and a very relaxed vibe. They really made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Hats off to Cassie for preparing meals that catered for gluten-free and dairy-free guests and were delicious to boot. The whole experience was just great and I've come away feeling . I'll be back!

Organizer response: It was an absolute pleasure to host your Yoga weekend Grace. We hope we see you out here again some day. Thank you for your lovely review. Cassi, Si and Emma

The food was amazing (I am still dreaming about the spicy wings) and nothing was too much trouble, even though we were outnumbered by kids! We had the best week and will miss you both. Ellie misses the smell of Cassie's cooking!"

"Over the last 30 years, I've spent many weeks skiing in resorts across the Alps, however last July was my first time in the Alps during the summer. My son, his girlfriend, and I stayed with Cass and Simon, the owners of Alpine Action Adventures based in their lovely chalet in Morzine, we could not have been happier with the two weeks we spent there. Our host could not have been more accommodating, the chalet was lovely and well situated, and there was so much to do including climbing, hiking, paragliding, whitewater rafting, and more. I look forward to returning to Alpine Action Adventures as soon as possible to ski the wonderful Ports du Soleil area. Winter or summer, I would recommend anyone to try Cass and Simon's hospitality."
