One cannot help but think of a golden white coastline once they hear the word Kuta. If you go on a yoga retreat here, rest assured that you will probably be splashing or surfing away on the beach's waves. Aside from that, you can explore a little bit of culture. You can enjoy going on village temple visits, a Barong show, or a rather significant Buddhist temple in the heart of Kuta. Practicing yoga in Kuta has never sounded this good!
Strength training has been proven to prevent diseases and degenerative conditions, increase energy, decrease anxiety, increase bone density, build a strong heart, and reduce blood pressure. Typically, when you talk about sculpting the body, you think about HIIT circuits and the weight room. And yoga is, wrongly known, only as a good option for warm-up, stretching, and never seems to be considered a workout.
It’s no secret that we live in perhaps the most stressful times there ever were. Even if our material comfort is perhaps greater (for those of us privileged enough), the daily grind takes a higher and higher mental toll. Only the levels of information we absorb daily are a huge and incredible source of mental strain, never mind the emotional pressure.
Stress, and its physical symptoms, affects 77% of the population as reported by the American Institute of Stress. Over 90% of doctor visits can be traced back to stress in some way from poor digestion, disrupted sleep, increase heart attack/stroke risks, compromises our immune system, increase in anxiety symptoms and more.
