Algarveyoga's newest yoga holiday is set to take place at the lush and inspiring Quinta Da Rosa. Algarveyoga has developed a simple and effective concept that they believe will make this retreat a pure unforgettable bliss with yoga, meditation, relaxation, and delicious vegetarian food all surrounded by amazing oceanic environment. This holiday is all about having fun with yoga and will also teach you how to benefit and enjoy the vitality and good health that the yoga lifestyle has to offer.
The house comfortably sleeps 12 bed people. The four rooms are divided into two double rooms and two shared rooms. Showers and toilets are shared. The shared rooms sleep up to four yogis of the same gender. The double room can be shared with another participant (same gender) or with a partner, friend, or family member.
Single rooms are not available at Quinta da Rosa itself (unless they're not full), but can be booked in the surrounding area in between five to ten-minute walking distance to the Quinta. They all have their own bathrooms and belong to very friendly hosts.
You will practice five hours of yoga in form of meditation, yoga asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), yoga related theory, philosophy, and deep relaxation techniques daily. Beside this program, there is time to relax at the pool, walk to the beach, swim in the ocean, and spoil yourself silly with massages.
During the week you will gain a deeper understanding of the practice of yoga, the purpose of the postures and their physical, mental, and emotional effect. You will experience a wide range of meditation, breathing, and relaxation techniques. You will leave this holiday with a body that feels connected to you, a mind that can be calm and focused, and a heart that is happy and full of new inspirations. This holiday promotes self-practice so hopefully your yoga mat will get plenty of use once you're back home.

The yoga delight holidays are held at the charming Portuguese Quinta da Rosa near Salema. Situated in the hills of southern Portugal, the house is a stellar spot for a yoga holiday. It boasts a lovely meditation rock garden, a private swimming pool, an outside yoga deck, and a number of relaxing and shaded outdoor terraces. The interior and exterior of the villa is breathtaking.
The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings, arched windows, and lovely mahogany floors and doors. It is a very charming and modern house that has a classic and vintage style. If possible, the yoga practice will be on the shaded outside deck, but some 'yoga on the beach' sessions might be an option.
