You will be staying in Ahimsa Retreats ashrams. Ahimsa is situated on a hillside, private, quiet, and surrounded by 3.5 acres of Ayurvedic plants. Handcrafted home with handcrafted furniture and decor, it has all the comforts that would make your stay healing and rejuvenating. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioners, fans, and Wi-Fi. They have made their two yoga studios to be inspiring and calming, to help facilitate optimum practice. The Yoga Studios, one on top of the hill and the other on the fourth floor offer you with antique hardwood floors to ceiling glass windows that overlook panoramic rolling hills and spellbinding sunrises.

Ahimsa Retreats combines one-of-a-kind Ayurveda treatment (Panchakarma that incorporates Kalari Marma Chikitsa). Their healing process involves authentic and exceptional Ayurveda, Yoga, organic Ayurvedic diet, positive spiritual and artistic stimulation. It is done in the form of 1 - 2 hour long Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatments, cultural events, nature and temple visits, a backwater as well as beach trips to “calm the chaos” within so that each person can begin to “hear the music within their soul".

Their retreat aims for guests to leave in a state of enhanced health and optimism – a better person for their own wellbeing and that for the Earth.

Ahimsa have three yoga teachers who teach Patanjali yoga with emphasis on Hatha yoga, pranayama, and meditation from beginners level to advanced level yoga practitioner.

Vatsala Rao

Vatsala Rao has MSc. in Yoga Philosophy and Practice. With over 18 years of experience as a yoga teacher and yoga therapy practitioner, she runs her own yoga studio in Mumbai. She teaches Patanjali / Hatha yoga from beginners to advanced level. Her gentle and inspiring style is extremely suited for all levels of yoga practitioner.

C.V Ranjit

C.V Ranjit is a Kalaripyattu (yoga based ancient martial arts) Master, with extensive advanced training and experience in Yoga practice, C.V Ranjit teaches mainly Patanjali / Hatha yoga from beginners to advanced level.

E. M.G. Nair

E. M.G. Nair is an expert in yoga, meditation, pranayama, mantra, Swara yoga, Ayurvedic healing and Indian Vedic Philosophy. He is also a Sanskrit scholar. He is available for lectures and 1 - 2 hour long classes in areas of interest in these fields including Sanskrit language lessons. He also teaches Patanjali / Hatha yoga.

Three daily organic vegetarian meals are included in the price. Seasonal exotic fruit juices, as well as fruits and vegetables, are available at the Ahimsa garden. You may have a taste of exotic and healing fruits from the garden such as Passionfruit, Starfruit, Jack fruit, and varieties of bananas, Rambootans, Sapota and much more.

Their meals are carefully planned so that they are not only tasty but also healing and nutritious at the same time. Many of their clients who were hard core non-vegetarians prior to the retreat were pleasantly surprised about how tasty vegetarian food could be and was inspired to eat healthy after the retreat. They also serve teas using ingredients grown in their own gardens such as ginger, lemon grass, Tulsi, turmeric and many others.
