By far one of the most unique experiences on the island is a visit to the Monastery of Hozoviotissa (which is included in the excursions). Built 300m above sea level, the upward journey to the actual landmark, provides a peaceful walk with breathtaking views of the Big Blue.
Amorgos has plenty of beautiful beaches, some of the most popular being Agia Anna, Agios Pavlos, Mouros and Aegiali. Whether you prefer sand or pebbles, everything is possible in Amorgos. You can swim in the crystal-clear water, or enjoy the beach life, relaxing on the sun loungers and under the beach umbrellas, which some of the beaches provide.
