With the beautiful mountains and turquoise calm sea and rich history, there is something for everyone on this breathtaking island. Adventure yogi would love for you to join them on a sunshine yoga holiday in Corfu. It is a gorgeous island in Greece with lush green hills and turquoise waters, hot summers, and (almost) guaranteed sunshine. Time can be spent cooling off in and around the pool or by walking down to the beach and swimming in the dream-like sea.
Your accommodation in Corfu is a newly built collection of apartments surrounding an outdoor swimming pool with a lawn area and shaded dining area.
It has been lovingly built by a family who cares about the environment and has consciously wanted this property to work with the planet to protect her, working with Green Key to follow their guidelines for a sustainable property. Using materials that create better insulation in winter and cool rooms in summer to lessen the use of air conditioning systems is amongst some of the actions they have taken.
It is also an organic Kumqaut farm that produces its own products from the fruit harvested and they are expanding their products to seasonal fruit and vegetables and olive trees.
It consists of 5 apartments.
This is a studio apartment with a bedroom with king size bed, kitchen and dining area, bathroom, and outdoor terrace with natural shade from the pergola.
These apartments are 3-room apartments with a single occupancy room with a double bed and a twin room with two single beds for two people sharing, both with en-suite bathrooms. The apartments have a living / kitchen area and a terrace for outdoor dining.
This apartment is a maisonette with a twin room for two people sharing two single beds on the ground floor with a bathroom, kitchen, and living area overlooking the outdoor terrace. There is another single occupancy bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom and living area.
There will be an orientation walk around the local area and you can also explore the grounds of the apartment, which is an organic farm, growing a selection of seasonal vegetables and olives and their specialty which is the Kumquat.
The week will follow with beach days, pool days, a cooking class, a trip to explore Corfu town followed by dinner out, and a day exploring an old village called Afiona that takes you to the iconic bay of Porto Timoni. You can relax on the beach after a 40-minute walk down the cliffs to the spectacular bay where you can relax for the afternoon. Your week of yoga holiday in Corfu can be as active or as relaxed as you like.
Wake up to the sound of the cicadas and make your way to the outdoor and shady yoga shala.
In the mornings, there will be a more dynamic yoga class to wake the body and mind with meditation and pranayama whilst overlooking the views of the sea below.
The evening classes will be Yin and Restorative yoga and held either in the yoga studio or outside. With 3 hours of yoga over 6 days, start to unwind from your daily life and release into relaxation and feel your energy revitalize over your week with them. Any age, ability, or level can enjoy this yoga practice.
For the June retreat dates, your yoga instructor would be Marie Williams, while for August and October, it will be Amy Williams.
This yoga holiday in Corfu is suitable for anyone who'd like a week in the sun with activities, wellness, healthy food, and yoga. It is for those who like to be a part of a group, but also like some independence. Beginners are welcome as well as all ages.

Corfu is the second largest of the Greek Ionian Sea islands. Corfu’s lush, green terrain benefits from the island’s Mediterranean-type climate.
It is an island of magnificent contrasts, from busy tourist beaches to hidden picturesque coves, from dark green olive groves in the valleys to rugged pine and cypress forested mountainsides.
The island’s heritage also is as varied as its terrain. Over the centuries, it has been occupied by the Byzantines, Venetians, French, and British, before finally becoming a part of Greece in 1864.
With the beautiful mountains and turquoise calm sea and rich history, there is something for everyone on this breathtaking island.
