Enjoy a four-night and five-day hiking and yoga break in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. With guided hikes, each day you can see how the local community lives and enjoy mint tea and great hospitality.
For the November 2023 retreat, you will be staying at AdventureYogi's usual venue's sister hotel due to the earthquake. The sister hotel is situated in the heart of the National Park with views of the Toubkal and a river close by.
In 2024, you will be staying at the Kasbah which has been recommended by National Geographic as one of The Unique Lodges of the World; and Conde Naste Traveller as having the best rooftop views. You will be amazed and wowed by your accommodation in the High Atlas Mountains.
Both venues have 14 en-suite rooms and they have options of standard, deluxe, and superior en-suite rooms which are spacious and have spectacular views. The rooms are rustic yet comfortable with simple berber adornments such as hand-woven carpets, blankets, intricate-carved woodwork, and oleander branch paneled ceilings.
Two single beds or a double bed. A smaller room than superior or deluxe rooms. The bathroom has a wet room shower, toilet, and sink.
Two single beds or a double bed. Spacious room with balcony and outdoor space. The ensuite has a bath, shower, toilet, and sink.
The same as a deluxe only bigger balcony, room, and bathroom.

This Atlas Mountain yoga retreat is suitable for anyone who would like a short break away with activities and relaxation in equal measure, for hikers or walkers and for those who enjoy wellness, healthy food, and yoga.
Beginners are welcome as well as all ages. Once you have landed at Marrakech, your yoga holiday has started. Enjoy the scenic drive up to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Your first evening starts with a short yoga class and then dinner. On the last day, enjoy a morning yoga class and brunch before you head home.

Marie is a yoga teacher and yoga therapist. Her classes are about connecting with your body and mind through explorative movement and flows, moments of still restoration and reflection and weaving breath work and mindfulness throughout. They are a time to return home to yourself. Marie creates an environment that balances your busy, demanding lives with the opportunity to learn how to tend to your nervous system and support the release of physical and mental tension through the yogic powers of self-regulation. Marie specializes in the movement disciplines of Vinyasa and Yin yoga.
Felicity practiced for several years before training and qualifying in 2014 and it was then that she left the corporate world, went traveling for six months, and started teaching yoga full time. Since then, Felicity has completed multiple advanced teacher training and has continued to develop her teaching skills and knowledge, training with world-renowned teachers in styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Pregnancy, Postnatal, and breathing. She has a wealth of experience in teaching a range of experience levels, from complete beginners to the more advanced.
Rosie is a yoga teacher and paddle-boarding coach with over 10 years of personal practice. She initially trained in Bali in Hatha and Vinyasa Flow and has subsequently completed training in Yin yoga, Forrest yoga, SUP yoga, Thai yoga massage, and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. She is known for her warm and engaging teaching style and personalised approach. She believes that yoga is not a ‘one size fits all’ and encourages individuals to work with their own bodies not against them.
Lizzie has been exploring yoga for the last 10 years. She specialises in a range of styles including Vinyasa flow, Rocket yoga, Yin yoga and functional breathwork. While she enjoys sharing fluid Yang-like yoga flows, she equally takes pleasure in guiding students into deep relaxation where she believes the real physical and mental transformations take place. She will gently remind you to slow down, and use the yoga practice to nurture your relationship with your own body and mind. She teaches yoga because she believes it has the power to enhance your everyday life and find peace.
The holiday will take place in Imlil, Al Haouz Province, Morocco. AdventureYogi has two locations in Morocco for your adventurous spirit: one is the High Atlas Mountains for the hiker in you and the other is the more cultural and relaxing area of Marrakech. The joy of the Marrakech region lies in its diversity. You will revel in the colorful rush of the city souks, be inspired by the breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, and be moved by the gentle and warm hospitality of the Berber people. Here is an area influenced by east and west, by Africa and Europe.
Marrakech is two pulsating cities in one where modern culture sits just the other side of 11th-century walls. And all this endearing commotion is surrounded by quiet Berber villages. If you exhaust the city’s fountains, palaces, and mosques, head south to the Atlas Mountains. Here, snow-capped summits perch high above wild river bases, protecting Marrakech from the searing climatic extremities of the Sahara Desert.
In the Atlas Mountains, you will head to the venue. It is based in the Toubkal National Park and set dramatically below the towering flanks of Jbel Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa standing at 4167 meters. Imlil, and its surrounding valleys, is a world apart from the bustle of the city and a place of peace and seclusion.
