As an eco-retreat center, everything has been built with sustainability at the heart of everything they do. There is a swimming lake where you can row boats, a newly developed meandering garden with paths, a Japanese garden, and firepits to stargaze in the evenings. There are also a heated outdoor pool and a new garden kitchen cafe if you fancy a latte and to connect with other people staying at the center.
It is a magical retreat venue that has grown over the years with the environment and human connection at the center of what they do. These luxury en-suite rooms combine rustic charm with quirky modern twists. They are nestled in a courtyard formation around the Barn which is the yoga, dining, and chill-out space. The main barn has underfloor heating throughout wood burners and big cozy sofas in a living space to relax into.
Each bedroom has original artworks by renowned artist Oliver Barnett, giving each room a unique interpretation of a natural scene creating a perfect harmonious color balance with the handmade curtains and cushions. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms have their own underfloor heating. They also have super comfortable, extra thick sprung mattresses and high-quality cotton linen.
The rooms are spacious enough for two people to share a room comfortably, with cozy single beds and crisp linen, and beautiful en-suite bathrooms that have either a bath or a shower room.
These rooms have the same thoughtful eco-design as the twin or double rooms but with an extra area which is a day bed for the third person in this lovely triple. There is a spacious en-suite bathroom also.

Early May is the perfect time to enjoy this wellness yoga holiday in Norfolk. The sun and warmth of spring have arrived and given the grounds of this stunning venue time to flourish so that it radiates colors of lush green, sparkling blue from the lake, reds, oranges, and purples of the wildflowers throughout. August is one of the best times of year to stay at this retreat center when the summer is at its peak and the grounds are truly stunning in all their glory.

This wellness yoga program in Norfolk is suitable for anyone who would like a weekend away with wellness, healthy food, and yoga. Beginners are welcome as well as all ages. The yoga holiday starts at 4:00 p.m. on Friday so that you can settle in and relax before the yoga class that starts from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then dinner. Arrive when you can on Friday. You finish at 10:00 a.m. on Monday after the usual morning schedule and breakfast.
During the long weekend in Norfolk, you will be treated to two two-hour classes a day. Enjoy an energizing flow class in the morning to increase flexibility and strength while making you feel relaxed, leaving plenty of time for meditation and savasana. Get what you need from each class by going inward and really listening to your inner voice and wisdom so that you can nourish and revive in the individual way that you need.
You will enjoy a guided walk to castle Acre and take a day trip to Holkham beach one the next day if you came by car.
Chetana trained as a yoga teacher in 1998 in India with B.S Iyengar in Ashtanga Vinyasa and followed that with Sivananda in 1999. She trained in yoga therapy 500-hour training in 2000. Her classes are known to offer many supportive adjustments naturally, as bodywork, meridian, and acupressure are her background foundation. She is also a qualified Thai yoga massage therapist and Vortex healing practitioner.
Rebecca’s style of teaching is both tender and soulful yet deep and satisfying. Rebecca’s love and passion for all things yoga is obvious in her classes. You will feel her joyful and playful energy and experience the soul soothing balm that is yoga. She has studied with many inspiring and well-seasoned yogis such as Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Kino Macgregor, Danny Paradise, David Williams, and David Swenson.
Born in Norway, Wenche (pronounced Venca) is a global yogini with a wanderlust soul living and breathing her love for yoga and life. She trained as a yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2000 and now dedicates her yoga classes and her own yoga practice to the journey of joyful living. In 2014, Wenche created and started her own yoga school in England, Yoga Life Studio, of which its 200-hour yoga teacher training program is accredited by Yoga Alliance UK, where she now shares her knowledge and birthing new yoga teachers into the world.
Tammy has an exceptional breadth of knowledge of yoga having taught for nine years. She has trained with some of the most renowned yoga teachers globally and also studied an MA in Yoga Philosophy and Meditation. She is also a trained Pilates teacher and is a qualified Thai yoga massage therapist so she has a brilliant knowledge of the body. Tammy weaves yoga philosophy, anatomy, and postural alignment into her yoga classes. She is passionate about connecting with others on a deep level and her sense of humor and light-hearted approach creates a warm and friendly atmosphere at every retreat.
Louise has spent time living at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India, learning Hatha series and living a yogic lifestyle. She has traveled around India learning from different yoga teachers. She also trained to teach Vinyasa flow yoga in the foothills of the Himalayas and trained in trauma sensitive yoga which brings the therapeutic and mindfulness aspect of yoga to help heal sufferers of trauma and stress. Her classes have a strong focus of heart opening, releasing emotions, acceptance, and being present. She teaches a mixture of energizing flow yoga and a slower mindful practice.
Charlotte ran a small but lively cafe in Tooting Market, South London where herself and two friends locally sourced, curated recipes and hand cooked every aspect of the food served. Alongside the cafe, Charlotte ran a series of culturally themed pop-up restaurant nights incorporating live music, dance and of course, a beautifully prepared cuisine to match. She has continued to create healthy cooking environments and is now managing a festival food stall serving hand cooked bubble and squeak with all the trimmings!
%After eleven years of studying and practicing yoga, Gaby began teaching small classes in Chile. Later, she arrived in the UK and began teaching in earnest in 2002 largely in the Lake District, Cumbria. Since then, she has qualified as a senior yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance UK, and currently is the owner and director of Continuum Yoga Studio in Windermere. Her style of teaching encourages people of all ages and abilities to explore their personal full range of movement between mindful Yin practice and beautiful, flowing Yang sequences.
Bess is a passionate and knowledgeable yogi whose playful, focused and flowing Hatha classes seek to honor the present moment by creating a grounded connection to the spiritual heart. She has been practicing yoga with intent since her first teacher training in 2010. Traveling solo to India on a journey of discovery she finally found a path that resonated - one that offers both peace and purpose while embracing creativity, strength, and unification. Bess continues her exploration through dedicated self-practice, regular varied training and offers classes in London as well as internationally.
After completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Costa Rica, Amy knew she wanted to teach in a way that made yoga accessible to everyone. With a background in working as a massage therapist in both holistic and clinical settings, Amy uses her knowledge of the body and its ranges of movement to ensure that no matter what age or ability arrived on their mat, they could feel confident to practice. Amy has completed her training in Yin, yoga therapy, chair yoga, sequencing, mindfulness, and advanced yoga anatomy over the years, each bringing a different dynamic to the practice.
Corrina is one of our senior teachers, she is an authentic and thoughtful teacher who strongly believes that yoga is for everyone. In Corrina’s classes, you are empowered to listen to and trust your body, she encourages a mindful, inquisitive practice with benefits that extend outside of your yoga class. In Corrina’s classes, you can expect an observant Hatha based practice full of somatic inquiry; using your breath to guide you and reawaken parts of yourself you may have previously forgotten about!
Yoga has changed and shaped Laura’s life and she is passionate about holding space to support others on their yoga journey. Her teaching is intuitive and nurturing, offering an opportunity to explore connection; when we sync our breath with movement, our bodies find fluidity and grace, this state of being creates space for a deeper connection to ourselves and to everything around us. Laura’s classes are playful, creative, delicately balancing effort with ease and influenced by her wide experience of practicing with many inspiring teachers over the past 15 years.
Ros is a bubbly and well-loved teacher, known for her inspirational and playful classes which focus on the healing power of the breath and its ability to create space in the body and mind. She is an advanced Forrest yoga teacher who teaches you how to listen to your body and modify the poses to suit what you need at that moment. As well as Forrest and Vinyasa flow, Ros teaches Yin yoga; the deep, calm classes offering the perfect balance to her powerful Forrest classes.
Louise is a warm and enlightening teacher who uses yoga to help you feel good! Louise has spent time in India, where she studied and practiced yoga extensively- training to teach vinyasa flow in the foothills of the Himalayas. She is an advocate for using the spiritual, heart-opening nature of yoga to help you live a more peaceful and contented life. Louise teaches a mixture of Hatha Flow, Yin and meditation on her retreats, but is also a qualified life coach and reiki healer.
Jessamin is a warm and nurturing character who teaches a heart-centered Vinyasa flow that is both challenging and gentle at the same time. She knows how to look after our guests having run multiple retreats in the world for herself or other well-known retreat companies.
Tamara Yasin passionately believes in yoga as a lifestyle for greater awareness and connection with yourselves and the world. She loves to share the power of yoga and meditation as practices through which you can become more alive, embodied, and joyful. She aims to inspire creativity through movement so you may feel more at home in your bodies and find greater freedom in your minds, unlocking your full potential and living in alignment with your highest intentions and selves.
Her cooking is very much inspired by nature and showcases the colorful, sensory beauty of what the plant world has to offer. The recipes and menus she creates are always based on seasonal, whole-food ingredients that are inspired by world cuisines. She makes big bowls of beautiful, delicious food that people can dig into, share, and create their own perfect plate.
Alicia originally trained in Ashtanga yoga and has subsequently studied with traditional Hatha yoga teachers as well as theming creative sequencing for vinyasa flow classes. Alicia loves to include philosophy, poetry, pranayama, and meditation in her classes and to bring lightness and playfulness wherever possible.
Alongside teaching yoga, Nafia is also an amazing plant-based chef. There’s nothing more she loves than to be in the kitchen experimenting, creating, playing with different flavour combinations to ultimately bring joy to those she is catering for with food that is interesting, tasty, and above all nutritious! After undertaking training at the prestigious cookery school Leith’s in London, Nafia completed advanced raw food courses and has assisted top raw food chefs and retreat organisers. Nafia believes that yoga and food are the perfect marriage, as if extending her yoga practice to the table.
Claire's personal practice is Ashtanga, and she has studied both at the Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) in Mysore, and with authorised teachers of the lineage throughout Asia. After Mysore she went to work on a yoga retreat in Thailand, and another, a little closer to home in the Carpathian Mountains.
Marie is a yoga teacher and yoga therapist. Her classes are about connecting with your body and mind through explorative movement and flows, moments of still restoration and reflection and weaving breath work and mindfulness throughout. They are a time to return home to yourself. Marie creates an environment that balances our busy, demanding lives with the opportunity to learn how to tend to our nervous system and support the release of physical and mental tension through the yogic powers of self-regulation. Marie specialises in the movement disciplines of Vinyasa and Yin yoga.
Charlotte's motivation is to share her passion for seasonal, plant-based ingredients and encourages guests to use their time on retreat to reconnect with their relationship to food. As a Pilates, yoga teacher, and chef, she believes that with a balanced approach to exercise, eating well, and making more mindful choices about how and what we consume, we can live a more nurturing, self-supporting, and planet-friendly lifestyle.
Nicole is a yoga teacher, plant lover, cat mum and sunset chaser from Nottingham. Yoga first came into Nicole’s life when she was 13 years old as a means of stretching and increasing flexibility for dance competitions. She has now been teaching for over 5 years in the UK and around the world alongside her travels. She mainly teaches Vinyasa Flow and Yin yoga and specialises in Tibetan Singing Bowl sound baths. Nicole loves to see the transformation of people through the connection to their bodies and breath from each practice.
