During this retreat, you will stay at AdventureYogi's retreat center in Stonegate. Crow and ewe cottage has two twin rooms, one with en-suite and shower, and the other with a separate bathroom with bath. They both have a spacious living room and kitchen. The calf shed cottage has en-suite bathrooms, one with a shower, and the other with a shower and bath. Both rooms can be a twin or a double.

Firstly, you have to let and get things straight. You do not have to be "Miss Bendy" or "Mr. Pretzel" but you will benefit from these yoga weekends if you have a regular practice or have been practicing yoga on and off for a while and have a grasp of it. The teachers on these yoga retreats are very experienced and will teach a higher level of yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy. They will definitely support you going deeper into your practice with their guidance.

On each retreat, you will all be given the chance to chat with the yoga teacher about what you would like to get out of the weekend so that the teacher is fully aware of your needs. Over the retreat, they will offer you space to explore your meditation practice and immerse yourself in the more still side of yoga - both physically and mentally. The teacher will follow a theme for the retreat and there will also be a yoga philosophy topic on a Saturday evening after dinner.

AdventureYogi maintains ethos of fun and adventure of the spirit in a relaxed way, and by deepening your yoga practice, you are tuning into what you need, to give yourself the best support to a busy and sometimes stressful life. The retreat is best for those who have done yoga before and know the postures (asanas) and want to be on a retreat where they can progress instead of having mixed ability.

During this retreat, in the morning, you will enjoy a yoga practice which will energize and awaken sleepy bodies and a variety of types of meditation practice to calm the mind. Meanwhile, in the evening, you will enjoy a yoga practice to unwind and calm, with restorative practices, meditation, and yoga Nidra.

Additionally, you will have daily guided silent morning walk and guided walk on Sunday afternoon in the Sussex countryside. There will also be a yoga workshop on Saturday afternoon to help develop your practice on a specific subject.

All the yoga teachers has been teaching for a considerable time and will be able to develop your practice with you. Although it is an intermediate retreat, they still maintain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with playfulness. The retreat starts at 5:00 p.m. on the Friday so please do not arrive before as they would not be ready for you. The retreat ends at 12:00 p.m. after the usual morning schedule.

During this retreat, you will be served three daily vegan meals. AdventureYogi believes that the retreats should be nurturing in every way. And so, their vitality chefs will create tasty, healthy, vegetarian meals for you from local, seasonal produce.

In the morning, you will be able to enjoy delicious and wholesome veggie or vegan-inspired breakfasts from one of AdventureYogi's expert in-house chefs. In the afternoon, you will be served fresh, warming, and healthy vegan-style lunch with a selection of salads and dressings. Meanwhile, in the evening, there will be hearty vegan meals with a selection of savory and inspiring dishes, plus a wheat, sugar, and dairy-free dessert for your enjoyment.

Additionally, in the early morning, hot water and lemon or herbal teas with nut snacks will be served to boost energy levels pre-yoga. All of the food is gently detoxing and the chefs cater to various dietary preferences. Guests are always impressed by their creative, flavorsome dishes because the food is just as important as the yoga.

Driving directions from London

  • From London, get onto the M25.
  • Then, exit onto the A21.
  • It is then about 30 minutes drive from the M25.
  • Once you have booked your place with AdventureYogi, they will give you the exact address and postcode.

Arrival by train

There are trains that run every hour from London Charing Cross, Cannon Street, and Waterloo East. They take one hour and 10 minutes.

Cancellation Policy

  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
