Your accommodation in Cornwall is simply stunning.

A modern home with all the creature comforts you need. The Terrace offers views across the bays and out to sea, as does the yoga space and multiple bedrooms.

Bedrooms

There is a mix of private king-size doubles and twin rooms available. Five of the seven rooms are ensuite with the two first-floor rooms sharing a large bathroom with a shower and bathtub.

Two of the king rooms boast sea views and the upstairs king size has its own private entrance to the garden with a beautiful secret terrace.

Communal space

They say the kitchen is the hub of the home and that certainly is the case here! The open-plan dining room and kitchen with full glass front open up onto the large terrace to make the most of THAT view! Upstairs there is a cozy sitting space and an upstairs bar.

The yoga studio and equipment

The yoga studio is within the upstairs living space with stunning views across the bays and out to sea. Please bring as much of your own yoga equipment as possible including your yoga mat.

For Coronavirus guidelines and social distancing, there will be up to a maximum of 9 guests and there are shared bathrooms but will only be between 2 people.

Program

Situated a stone’s throw from the beach with sea views from the yoga space, indulge in four hours of yoga a day and be guided along the coastal paths and explore fishing villages and be in awe of stunning sunsets right from your yoga studio!

With spring here and early summer on its way, it’s a beautiful time to be in Cornwall to swim, surf, hike, or SUP.

With a super modern but homely feel, your Cornwall base is only a 5-minute walk to the beach and the beautiful coastal path is right on the doorstep. There is so much to explore!

Feel free to relax and unwind or get involved with the hikes or even a surf lesson. The yoga classes look out to sea so you can soak up as much of the view as possible, as does the dining room!

About the yoga

On AdventureYogi's springtime yoga retreat Cornwall in May, the classes are suitable for all abilities, from beginners to intermediate and advanced levels. Everyone is welcome. AdventureYogi has a range of inspiring and experienced teachers who are well practiced at adapting the class for everyone’s level.

The yoga classes take place in the large, first-floor living space providing you with a stunning view out to sea. If the weather allows, you will hopefully take a morning practice down to the beach!

Suitability

This springtime yoga retreat in Cornwall is suitable for anyone who'd like a weekend away with wellness, healthy food, and yoga. Beginners are welcome as well as all ages.

AdventureYogi has designed their weekends and weeks for people who love yoga, whether they are beginners or have been practising for years. All of the teachers are very experienced and are more than capable of adapting the classes to all levels. Their ethos is about being open and friendly, and they set up their business to spread the incredible word of yoga to people who perhaps wouldn’t have gone on a yoga retreat before. So don’t be shy, there is no time like the present to start your journey with yoga.

Itinerary

The springtime yoga retreat in Cornwall will begin at 4 p.m. on the first day with an opening yoga class at 6 p.m. On the last day, checkout is at 10 a.m.

Your days will roll like our yoga classes do, a slow flow blend of movement and relaxation that makes the most of the stunning location we are in.

Coastal path walks and surfing is all within walking distance and SUP-ing is also available locally. You can make your time with AdventureYogi as adventurous or relaxing as you wish.

A typical day

  • 07:30 Pre-yoga tea and snacks
  • 08:00 90-minute uplifting yoga class
  • 09:30 Delicious brunch
  • 10:30 - 13:30 Coastal path hike or surfing
  • 14:00 Light lunch
  • 14:30 - 17:00 Time to relax or explore at your own pace
  • 17:00 Two-hour restorative and meditation yoga class
  • 19:00 Two-course dinner!

Note: The classes are not mandatory. AdventureYogi understands people all want different things. Their two-hour sessions normally also include meditation or mindfulness, so it’s worth giving it a go.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Newquay Airport (NQY). You can fly to Newquay from a number of UK airports at great prices out of season. The venue is less than a 10-minute drive away from Newquay Airport.

Arrival by train

The nearest station is Newquay. It’s about 5 miles from the retreat. The journey from London is about 4.5 hours depending on the route you take. Please book these trains/or similar times if coming from a different direction, so that we can organize a taxi share for you and save you some money.

The train times are not on the national rail website until 3 months before your date of travel, so these will be updated.

Due to coronavirus, AdventureYogi can’t arrange a taxi share for you at the moment.

AdventureYogi recommends these train times but you can get any train that you like just arrive before 4 p.m. on the arrival day however yoga doesn’t start until 6 p.m. so you have time if you want to arrive later than 4 p.m.

You will be required to check out of the property by 10 a.m. on the last day.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
