The accommodation is a beautiful family-owned stately home that has been refurbished to a beautiful standard stay-in, keeping its original features. There are no en-suite bedrooms because of this.

The rooms are sumptuously decorated to a very high standard. They are all spacious, luxuriously decorated in amazing fabrics, and have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It has a classic feel so you will feel spoiled yet it also feels homely so you can completely relax and switch off.

The house has a huge, welcoming lounge with cozy sofas and an open fire. The dining room is light and airy with fabulous views of the grounds. There are fascinating paintings and fresh flowers everywhere. Built in 1908, in striking sandstone, it stands grandly at the end of a long drive flanked with lime trees. It is a world away from the everyday and is a place that will leave you feeling relaxed and positive.

It is a family home, a wedding venue, and now a yoga retreat venue, and so it continues to bring people together. It was bought in 1979 by the same family who own it now and have carefully restored the house and manicured its beautiful gardens to its present glory.

The retreat is very private and the yoga studio looks out onto the terrace, gardens, and extensive countryside. It is the perfect place to relax, switch off, and feel that you are being looked after for a relaxing and revitalizing weekend yoga break.

Let this well-being and yoga retreat permeate your inner self. Allow yourself to switch off, unwind, and let go. Take these three days as an opportunity to nourish yourself inside and out. That is what it all takes. You will have reset your inner battery, return to work glowing, and have your colleagues ask you what you did over the weekend!

The silent walk in the morning giving you a chance to wake up slowly in nature is a beautiful way to energize for the day ahead. With two hours of yoga a day, allow yourself the space to process what comes up. With an invigorating walk in the afternoon to blow away the cobwebs and a therapeutic massage to soothe aching muscles, you will feel like you are getting an emotional and physical treatment.

During this retreat, you will have guided silent morning walks to the sunrise to wake up peacefully and slowly, accompanied by early morning hot water and lemon or herbal teas with nut snacks to boost your energy levels pre-yoga. You will have daily morning yoga practice which will energize and awaken sleepy bodies and a variety of types of meditation practice to calm the mind.

In the evening, you will have yoga to unwind and calm with restorative practices, meditation, and yoga Nidra. On Sunday afternoon, you will take a guided walk for an hour in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.

Let the food nourish your being. Allow the yoga team of expert teachers help you connect to your inner and most true being to show you where you are in the moment. The yoga retreat starts from 4:00 p.m. on Friday, with the first yoga class starting at 6 p.m. You will then finish at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
