Excellent spot for hikes and superb yoga
The house is truly magnificent, wonderful views and cosy sofas to lounge on. The yoga was plentiful and Louise shows many adaptations. Louise is very knowledgeable and talks through the yoga to make it connect with our breath and emotions. Added bonus was the hikes which were guided and perfect for all abilities. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Lovely, friendly people all over. I would definitely return.

Peak District Yoga Retreat
This was an amazing retreat, big thanks to Helen for the inspiring yoga and meditation classes, to Rachel for her vegetarian cooking wonders and Richard for the hiking adventure! I loved every bit of it, the time truly flowed in mindfulness, nature and group's shared experience and stories.

Excellent Retreat!

The venue, the food, yoga/hiking and the very warm welcome on arrival.
The yoga was very good with plenty of options for the postures given. I liked the style/pace of the yoga sessions. Helen is an excellent teacher, always positive and enthusiastic with so much energy! She was able to teach all levels with ease, from the beginner to the more advanced. Everybody could benefit in an extremely safe and friendly environment. The morning and evening differed (energetic to more restful Yin/Nidra) to take account of the 2 hikes. As basically a previous 'non-hiker' I found I really enjoyed them. Our guide was excellent and everyone in the group was positive and helpful. Rachel our Chef made the most delicious vegan meals! Overall, everything was great and I will definitely be on another retreat next year!

A wonderful break in the Peak District
The retreat was very well organised, the facilities were really comfortable and everyone involved was welcoming and helpful. Hayley North’s food was excellent and so full of flavour- I am not a vegetarian but I loved it and I am going to have make some of her recipes at home. I cannot eat wheat but that did not faze Hayley at all and most of the food she made for everyone -including a chocolate cake on the last evening - I could eat too, which was lovely. Nikki is a really good yoga teacher and I enjoyed the sessions going at my own pace and she gave options if a particular pose did not work for me. The two of them were a really super team and the walking guides, Richard and Rachel were lovely too.
Finally, the group I was with were of differing ages and nationalities but we all got along really well and it was a joy to share the experience with such great people.

A great disconnect from everyday life
The overall experience was really nice. Our host and yoga instructor Helen Moss ( she is not in the selection list above for some reason) was great and made us feel at home. The yoga sessions were really nice, energizing and relaxing in the evening. Food was excellent thanks to amazing chef Carla; very nutritious and fully vegan. The walks were in a dream scenery, nature and weather was so nice, Rachel was a great guide.

Fabulous relaxing and enjoyable weekend
Great bunch of people. Lovely accommodation with comfortable beds. Well structured activities with times to rest and relax. Yoga very good with Emily. Walks with guides also great. Food fab too. I don't have anything negative to say. All great.

Amazing experience
Harriet is an amazing yoga teacher and helped me to better my practice in a way I've never experienced before. Her meditation made me feel the most relaxed I have ever felt, with lots of more challenging yoga work in-between.
The chef we had made the most incredible vegan food and was careful to accommodate for others on the trip with allergies. I never knew food as healthy as that provided could taste so divine.
There was plenty of exploring to do out on the walks and in the little town nearby. The canoeing trip was an extra adventure to cherish.
Truly an amazing experience all round that I will never forget.

Mid-week yoga & walking
The venue was lovely, with a very high standard of presentation throughout. The yoga teacher (Felicity) was excellent in every respect - particularly in the way she communicated so effectively in class. I also felt the content & balance of the sessions was spot on - more demanding in the morning & less strenuous sessions in the evening.
The food prepared by Chloe was consistently of the highest standard & enjoyed by all of the group.
I’d also like to say how much we all appreciated Richard & Rachel’s guided walks on two of the days. They were enthusiastic, interesting to talk to and very good company.

Excellent over all experience.
Everything was very well organised. The Yoga was relaxing. The vegan food was absolutely delicious. The grounds were beautiful. The accommodation of one of the outside wooden huts was comfy and clean. I enjoyed the whole experience.

A welcome break from the world
I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was my first yoga retreat but it was just what I needed when I needed it, a moment to catch a breath and reset... The venue was a grand affair, Alicia and her family were so welcoming, my fellow retreat buddies were a great bunch and the food was glorious, cannot recommend enough, thank you!

Good asana and hikes but lacked the spiritual aspect for me
It was in a lovely setting and the accommodation was comfortable, warm, and beautiful. The yoga instructor was patient during class and attentive outside of class to help us feel welcome and comfortable. The hikes were fab and right out of the front door, and you made a great choice of hiking instructor!

Excellent retreat - exactly as advertised
Instructor was very insightful and open, leading diverse sessions with new positions I've not done before, making it very interesting. All the staff - admin, chef, yoga - were so lovely and made everyone feel at home. Who knew vegan food and vegan cake could be so delicious? The walks were also fantastic, and having a "free" day to choose your own activity was great - canoeing the river Wye is a must! I really enjoyed the retreat.

Peak District Retreat- Exceeded all my expectations
I didn’t just ‘like’ this retreat - I absolutely loved it.
The venue was amazing, the location breathtaking, Felicity was engaging and so helpful whilst also being part of the group, Hayley (our cook) did amazing food and I was never hungry.
Our group was amazing - we had never met but the chemistry was immediate, continuous laughter and chat.

The cattle shed yoga and hike break
Felicity was amazing, as a total newbie I was totally at ease, supported, encouraged and kept up with everything. Hayley’s food was incredible, we were sustained with an amazing vegetarian diet which never left us hungry despite all the yoga and hiking. The venue was gorgeous, scenery enhanced the whole experience, but the bonding of the group took it all to another level.

Wonderful yoga reatreat
The yoga sessions, food, programme of events, venue and group of people were all wonderful - couldn't have asked for anything better (apart from perhaps the weather, which was a bit chilly at times!). Loved the walks, outdoor pool, fire pit and the accommodation was very good too.

Trip of a lifetime!
I loved everything about this retreat! This was my first yoga retreat so I didn’t know exactly what to expect but it went well beyond what was expected and was absolutely amazing. The yoga, the food, and all the activities were fantastic. Jumping from the cliff jump was a great highlight to the trip and totally exhilarating. I had such an amazing and relaxing time!

Everything I'd hoped for and more
I very much needed a change of scene and to restore my energy levels and calm after the lockdown and this retreat was perfect. The cleanliness and social distancing was handled brilliantly without being or feeling alienating at all. The food was out of this world (I have requested recepies!) and the teaching was wonderful - I'm not that advanced and was able to do the entire practice and also learn something new. There were also options for those who were more advanced, so everyone was happy. The estate was beautiful and the walks, both silent and open, were great. I can honestly say that this was beyond my expectation and I will definitely come back to AdventureYogi again.

Great Retreat
Came back from the retreat feeling fresh and invigorated! My aches and pains were gone and I felt inches taller! Amy is a wonder instructor and I loved her yoga style. Will definitely be joining another retreat with Amy:-)

Blissful Weekend
I loved the yoga with Amy. She's a brilliant teacher and a lovely person. All very chilled and encouraging.
The food was good. Yoki is a great cook and everything was wholesome, tasty and plentiful.
The location was good for me - an easy drive from Winchester up the A34 and A41.
The house was very nice, albeit a bit quirky. My room was lovely - very spacious and quiet and comfortable.
The amount of free time was just right.
I loved my two massages - a full body one with Phillippa and a facial one with Amy.
The people on the retreat were really nice and we all got on well together. Twelve of us.

Leaving this retreat inspired, filled, and complete
I loved this retreat. We had phenomenal weather and being up in the mountains was divine. It was a great group of women on this retreat both instructors and participants which I think helped create an amazing experience. The food was out of this world. Hikes combined with the yoga was just what my soul needed . I would definitely recommend a yoga retreat to any of my friends.

Fantastic holiday!
It was my first yoga retreat and I hope the next one will be as good!
The chalet was lovely and the yoga sessions were really well planned. Louise is a great teacher, I have learned a lot and really relaxed.
We went on a few hikes and had some free time to rest, read and chill in the hot tub or sauna. Food was very tasty and it gave me good inspiration to cook vegan dishes more often!

Really enjoyable and relaxing weekend
Charlotte was an amazing chef. She manged to make the food both beautiful to look at and really delicious. No mean feat considering it was a strict detox diet!!
She was also incredibly helpful in answering all my "how did you make this taste so good?" questions. I've already recreated the green smoothie (mine still needs work!) and the smokey roasted beetroot (yummy and so simple!) Kimchi is next on my list. I've definitely changed the way I'm cooking and eating since I got back home.
Rebecca was a really great yoga teacher with so much experience in all different styles of yoga. Every lesson was different and interesting. I now practise the breathing exercises she taught us on a daily basis. She managed to make yoga very approachable and human.
My fellow course goers were also lovely!
Altogether a really great weekend. Thank you so much to everyone. I've managed to bring my zen peace of mind back into my daily life which is incredibly strengthening.
