Ghorepani Poonhill Trek Panorama view is a colourful lovely trek into the Annapurna region. The trail winds through patchwork valleys, dense mossy forests, and past icy waterfalls where you can stop to cool your face. Around every corner is a tantalising glimpse of the high mountains, whole horizons of which will be revealed to you as you reach the high points of your trek. You will stay in Kathmandu for the first and last nights at The Address Kathmandu Hotel or Hotel Aryatara Thamel Kathmandu. You will also stay in Pokhara for three nights at Hotel Dandelion Pokhara or Crown Himalaya Hotel. You will stay at accommodation lodges or tea house during the trek.
This trek in the Annapurna foothills includes walking up to the viewpoint on Poon Hill and offers all the best of trekking in Nepal. Enjoy trekking in the spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by some of the different ethnic tribes, the Gurungs, Magars, and through dense rhododendron forests full of birds and experience deep sub-tropical valleys.
These areas are all set below the Annapurna Ranges with the picturesque peaks of Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail Peak) dominating the skyline. At the climax of this trek, you will climb Poon Hill at dawn to enjoy one of the most spectacular mountainscapes on earth.
As the sun touches the snow-capped summits of the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters) and Annapurna (8,091 meters) along with a maze of other peaks, you will slowly see these peaks begin to appear, like magic, before your eyes. A rewarding trek that can be enjoyed by every lover of nature and beautiful landscape.
You start your trek from Nayapul which is a one-hour drive from Pokhara. After getting organized, you then trek for five days pausing along the way to take in the majestic views of the Himalayas. Stopping each night to rest in homely lodges, you will eventually get to a lovely place called Chule.
You will stay in Chule for three full days and four nights for your enriching yoga retreat with the wonderful background of the spectacular Annapurna Mountain range. Wake up every morning with sunrise view on top of the Himalayan range - you will feel you are in paradise with those views.
After three peaceful days of yoga and some breathing practice and meditation - you head down to Jhinu Hot springs. This is where you can take the time to explore the area and have a very peaceful afternoon in the hot springs that you deserve, after your long hall trek! The next morning from Jhinu Danda, you will trek to Kyumi or Nayapul to finish your amazing journey of a lifetime.
Drive back to Pokhara which will take approximately two and a half hours by private bus. Arrive at your hotel and say goodbye to your lovely porters who helped your journey to be more enjoyable by carrying the bags. Have a well-deserved hot shower, relax, and be comfortable with nice views of Fewa Lake.
Arrive in Kathmandu and be welcomed by your Adventure Hub Nepal (AHN) trip leader at the airport. Transfer to your hotel and relax and recover from your journey. You will then go for your welcome dinner at a restaurant nearby and have a pre-departure meeting with your group about the trip starting the next day.
Get up early, have breakfast, and then transfer to the airport. Fly to Pokhara (approximately 35 minutes flight). Once you arrive, you will be transferred to the hotel. Take some time for refreshments and enjoy the views. Take a stroll down to the spectacular Phewa Lake. Pokhara is filled with an outstanding panorama of river and countryside. Stay overnight in Pokhara.
After breakfast and packing up all your things, you will be heading to Nayapul (about a 90 minutes' drive), where you begin your trek. After a 30-minute short walk along the banks of the beautiful Modi Khola River, you reach Birethanti (1050 meters) a large village that has little shops and tea houses.
From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola River. You then climb steadily up the side of the valley to Hile to have lunch at 1495 meters. After lunch and enjoying the breathtaking views, you continue to walk to Tikhedhunga and this is where you will stay for the night in a guest house. Be prepared that your body will feel tired from getting accustomed to the trekking.
After breakfast, you will continue climbing up to Ulleri and have lunch. After lunch, you will walk past a large Magar village. Stay the night at Banthanti with fabulous views of the mountains. Another wonderful day in the mountains.
From Banthanti, the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak and rhododendron towards Nangge Thanti. Then, hike towards Ghorepani and after a few hours or so of walking, you will arrive at the picturesque village where you will pause and rest. Enjoy a well earned break and take in the breathtaking views of the Annapurna Mountains. Overnight at a guest house in Ghorepani.
This morning, you will get up early and go hiking up Poon Hill which is around 45 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes to 45 minutes down. From here, you will see superb views of the sunrise and panoramic views of the Himalayas. Some of the mountains you may see are; Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and Machpuchare.
After climbing Poonhill, you will walk back and down to Ghorepani and have your lovely breakfast. You will trek to Ban Thanti and have lunch. After lunch, you trek to Tadapani and stay the night here with amazing views of all mountain ranges.
Enjoy the trek from Tadapani to Chule and this is all downhill walking. The pathway goes through lush forest and then you reach Chule. Chule offers peaceful and simple accommodation with spectacular views - the perfect setting for your three-day retreat.
You will spend the day doing yoga, meditation, and allowing your bodies and minds to be at peace.

After breakfast, your trek descends to the spectacular Modi Kola River riverside. Here, you will find the amazing Jhinu Hot Springs which is situated right on the banks of the river. Immerse yourself into the warm waters of the spring nestled in the tight valley and listen to the rapids passing by. Stay overnight in a comfortable lodge after six days of trekking and three days of yoga and rest which is well deserved!
Trek from Jhinu Danda to Kyumi around three and a half hours and then drive back to Pokhara approximately two and half hours.
Today, you walk down to the Modi Khola River and trek along the river toward Kyumi. Upon arrival at your last destination, there will be time to reflect on the wonderful experience you have had. Have lunch and after that, you will be driven back to Pokhara by a private bus which will take approximately three hours. Relax and enjoy the comfortable hotel and a nice hot shower.

Enjoy some shopping in the morning and do a bit of sightseeing around Pokhara. In the afternoon between 2 to 4 p.m., fly back to Kathmandu. Don’t worry, you can still do your last-minute shopping in Thamel after dinner because they open until 10 p.m. as all the shops do in Thamel.
After breakfast, Adventure Hub Nepal staff will drop you to the airport and you fly back home.
