Yoga Retreat in Portugal

When was the last time you took some time just for yourself? Imagine waking up with the sun entering your room, opening the window and being surrounded by nature. Start the day practicing yoga, have a delicious breakfast and later go for a walk or surfing at the beach. A combination of yoga, meditation, mindfulness activities and free time to explore the beautiful region of Sintra. This is how a day on our upcoming retreat will look like!

You will stay at a top design surf house with private or shared rooms, gym, amazing views, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, chill-out areas, and a huge outside area with swimming pool. All of this is located 10 minutes away from the ocean and with several beaches and surf breaks in the area, with gorgeous views of Sintra’s castle in one side and the ocean in the other.

All levels are welcome. The main priority is to explore new ways of moving and to feel more connected with your body. If you have never practiced, don't worry at all! This experience is actually a great way to start your yoga journey.

Vinyasa yoga

It's one of the most popular yoga styles at the moment. It represents a good mixture between the traditional yoga and your modern lifestyle. You focus on increasing your physical mobility and learn how to move in new ways!

Yin yoga

Yin yoga helps you to release the stress from your daily life. While holding specific type of postures for 3 - 5 minutes, you become more aware of your body. You stretch and target both the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia, releasing physical and emotional tension of the body.

Meditation

Meditation is training for the brain and it can literally change its structure. It allows you to live in a more conscious way and change your perspective. It is not about sitting cross legs and not thinking, it is about being fully present, observing your thoughts without judging them. Meditation helps you to become more aware of your thoughts, to observe them with kindness and to calm your mind.

There are still a lot of misconceptions about meditation and during this week, Adriana Vázquez González wants to show you how you can easily implement it in your daily life, to live with more content and calmness.

Dreamsea Surf House Portugal is located in Sintra, around 30 minutes from Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. It has a strategic position with 7 different surf breaks within a 15 minutes' drive with dazzling scenery.

Food

The chef will pay special attention in preparing the most delicious and healthy dishes with fresh and local products. For all meals, there are vegetarian options. Water and tea are accessible during the whole day. There are also alcohol drinks accessible at the location (beers and wine) with an extra cost.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS). Dreamsea House offers a van to go to pick you up at the airport:

  • For 4 people: 40 EUR per way
  • From 5 to 8 people: 55 EUR per way

You also have the option to go via:

  • Taxi

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 15 days before arrival.
