Adriana Rizzolo Yoga Retreat California Program

In this weekend retreat in California, you will gather together to support your supernatural journey because the potential for quick transformation is magnified when in a community. Often, you need people outside of yourself to reflect your divinity. And, you need the tools to get through the muck to live from your soul.

Kirtan - unleashing your voice

Kirtan is a devotional practice that involves singing ancient Indian mantras and chants. It provides a safe container for you to experience your feelings and your heart. It is a practice of connecting to the divinity within and moving through whatever fears and resistance you may have around using your voice, sharing your heart, and creative expression. It is a practice that invokes stillness in the mind, unraveling the joy, and ecstatic bliss of your heart.

Tea ceremony

Tea ceremony is a simple yet formal practice of drinking tea. You will take part in the traditional Chinese form of Cha Dao, the way of tea. You are together in presence, in the community, held by the earth mother, warmed by the all-knowing fire, and awakened by the living water.

A tea ceremony is a humble practice. And within it, is a golden journey of wholeness and adoration. During each ceremony, Olivia offers seasonal plants for your tea ceremony, which she grows or gathers. All tea is herbal, chemical-free, wild, or ecologically grown and caffeine free.

Authentic relating

How much are you willing to be seen? To be heard? How can you be more comfortable in your own skin? How can you have meaningful authentic relationships? How can you remain aware of your body and sensory experience as you engage with others? How do you share so even the hard content is received? How can you feel most alive through relationship? These are questions you will begin to meet together.

Adriana and Olivia will be offering a half-day session with communication exercises to awaken and fine-tune your relational skills. You will go deeply into yourself and will learn tools to genuinely relate with others and to genuinely show up as you.

Yoga and dance

The yoga and dance on this retreat will be Hatha based and focused on releasing the pelvis. The classes will include healing adjustments, pranayama (breathwork), and bringing the energy of love into your body as you open and connect. It will include movement therapy to release stuck energy and emotions in the body and bring in a sense of lightness and fun.
