"Whew! Awesome place!"
This place exceeded my expectation. I walked in very tired and got out fully recharged. The staff are friendly and the place clean. The treatments were very good too.
I will definitely go back.

"Relaxing and enjoyable experience"
Everyone working on the premises is so kind and helpful. Every spa treatment was amazing, every meal was delicious, and the yoga and meditation were both enjoyable. Our excursion was adventurous and our guide Antara was knowledgable and had a great personality! The retreat is tucked away in Ubud, creating a quiet and calm atmosphere, but at the same time close enough to walk into town and the monkey forest.

"A week in Rejuvenation heaven"
5 - Star End-to-End Experience.
Initial consultation with Suresh, the Ayurvedic Doctor gives you a Wellness Consultation and breaks down the Ayurvedic Belief System to allow you to be well informed of the Treatments that you will be receiving but also to put you into the right headspace for your stay and beyond.
Suresh, Yani and their team are trained under the Ayurvedic system. And if you weren’t aware (as I wasn’t!) it’s a Hindu belief system that’s been practiced for over 5000 years!
Daily Yoga - 7am
This week we had Angel take post as Yoga Instructor for Suresh. She is a gifted and inspired yoga teacher and isn’t afraid to correct your postures. She pushed me further than I have gone for a little while so don’t be surprised if you’re sweating pellets in her classes. She likes the classes to go for 1.5 hours, which I enjoyed.. the more yoga the better I say!
Daily Meditation and Pranayama - 4pm
Each afternoon I enjoyed taking the time to breathe! Expect a little bit of work during your meditation hour.. It’s not just for zoning out but coming back to breath and centring yourself.
The food and service at The Herb Library is wonderful, healthy and delicious!
Expect only to feel incredibly relaxed and completely satisfied with your luxurious stay, mind, body and soul.. the Balinese know how to do this best.

"Amazing experience "
The personalisation of the package. All the staff in every department of hotel were friendly and accommodating. Yoga and meditation were incredible experiences. Spa treatments were out of this world. More yoga practise throughout the day would make this retreat perfect

The cozy ambience of the hotel is quite unforgettable. the fresh ingredients for all meals are delicious. The skillful massages from DaLa spa truly will light up your stay. Lastly, the combination of yoga and meditation for a day are indeed rejuvenated what I am expecting.

"Unbelievable experience 💕"
My four day retreat at Adiwana Jambawan completely surpassed all and any expectations I had. The resort is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Ubud. Adi, our instructor, did our morning couple of hours of yoga and meditation - he was so smiley and enthusiastic, and I learned so many techniques and tricks I’ll use at home too. I knew very little about Ayurveda, and an Ayurvedic consultation was included with my package. The doctor determined my body type and suggested foods to avoid/eat more of and arranged all my meals for during my stay in line with this. The food was absolutely delicious and the Herb Library is definitely worth a visit regardless of whether you’re staying here or not. The staff were incredibly friendly and anticipated my every need - I made friends with another lady who was doing the retreat and they began reserving a table for two of us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the day she had an excursion scheduled (it was included as part of her package) they suggested I might like to join her at no additional cost! The spa treatments at Tejas are next level. I’ve never had half of the treatments that were on offer, but I thoroughly enjoyed every single one. From a body wrap on the first day, to oil pouring over my head, to a two person massage - I was living the dream. Least important for me this trip: but the rooms were great, and while I didn’t spend much time at the pool, it was lovely when I did.

"I will be back!"
Alaya really is something else. Every single staff member is wonderful, the accommodation and treatments first class. I did the 4 day yoga and meditation retreat and felt like a different person when I left. The service is extraordinary in every way possible. Would recommend 100% even if it is a bit pricey. So worth it!

"The best retreat in Ubud"
The food was amazing. The massage was something I’ve never experienced before. Waking up 06.45 with a cup of lovely lemon tea and start the day with a yoga class can’t be a better way of living. The staff was very nice and friendly. Best bed I’ve slept in. The pillows and the duvet were super comfy

We stayed for 4 nights. We had a free upgrade from a deluxe room to Alaya room. The room was fantastic, clean and luxurious. When you see the 2 pools of the hotel you may thing you are in the magic world of the elves.. This exotic place is like paradise. The staff is so polite and helpful that makes you feel like a king. They also serve your breakfast at the room if you ask them (no extra charge). The location of the hotel is excellent, only 2 minutes walk from the central road of Ubud, close to supermarkets, restaurants, shops and everything you may need.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay again there for sure if I would come to Ubud again.
