"Perfect place to get back into shape!"
I spent two weeks at Action Point with the idea to be physically active and eat well which certainly was the case. A personally set schedule with a daily routine of 3-4 work outs with hot yoga, PT sessions and various cardio and action fit classes interspersed with healthy great home made food was just what I needed.

The Good - The place is amazing, particularly the staff. The concept is awesome. Food was very good and the place has everything you need to train like a demon and achieve your goals.
The Bad - the gym is tiny, which would be ok if it was just hotel guests - which it isn't. During peak periods the place is over run and its impossible to train during these periods. - So if you are booking your PT's which sure its off peak.
The other issue is maintenance - management is intent, on saving money where ever possible and will not conducting repairs and the whole place - other then the gym, is in need of repair. Just silly little things which is really quite annoying because the rest of the place is awesome.
My advice to management is simple, spend a little to make far more money. Doing things like turning the steam room down to save money - will cost you in the long run because people get sick of that real quick. Up your pricing if you need, hell I would have paid far more if you make the place exclusive - so that program guests get what they have paid for.
Certainly staff here from cleaners to PT's are simply amazing - they make the place - management needs to follow that lead, as that is what is letting the place down - and probably that's easy to fix.
Overall my stay 8/10 - and yes I will be going back but not before checking to see if things have changed in the gym.
Action Point was absolutely wonderful. The staff, the accommodation, the food, and the facilities were all beyond my expectations. Highly recommendable. I would definitely love to come back again. Thank you to everyone at Action Point for making this experience amazing.

I turned up with excess baggage and weight, I left feeling renewed and physically the me that I am. I cannot thank everyone at Action Point enough. Eric Smulders in particlar but even more so the restaurant staff - never once went hungry through delightful food and compassion. I honestly have never had a better experience in my life. Go hard, go strong and achive your goal - you will die on day 2 but you will leave so much better for it. That is all I have to say about Action Point. I lost 4kgs and 9.8cm off my waist in 21 days. It hit me hard on Day 3, but push through and dreams come true. I really cannot recommend this place further, despite Pavlov. ;) Bread-day = fun-day. Definitly do the hot yoga, he is inspirational! Geeza Eric, you made my time and you made it all!
Back to basics - accomdation = excellent. Food = devine. Overall rating AAA+, life-changing.

Cannot fault the place and the staff in reception kitchen and Eric as trainer are quite simply a team and a half !!
Incredible service and work so well as a team. Shafique as an owner is so helpful prior to arriving with any questions and the place is small but works like an extended family unit ..you will not want to go home!
