The yoga retreat includes four breakfasts, four lunches, and three dinners. All meals are vegetarian. It also includes a New Year’s dinner (vegetarian pizza, cheesecake, red or white wine, salad, fresh water).

The Tuxtlas Region is easily accessible from the motorway from the southeast, connecting in the section "La Tinaja" and then head south if you are coming from the central part of the country (Mexico-Veracruz highway) or the Villahermosa-Coatzacoalcos highway.
Unfortunately, since the tropical storm Karl, the route Ciudad Isla-Los Tuxtlas is not accessible, so it is recommended you the take the following route. Take the federal highway Veracruz-Alvarado-Catemaco; this road is in good conditions and allows you to save money by avoiding toll booths. You need to first reach Catemaco, then drive 19 kilometers along the coastal road from the Gulf to reach Sontecomapan.
Please book your flight to arrive at Veracruz International Airport (VER). The country's main airlines have flights to the city of Veracruz. From there, you can take an ADO bus to Catemaco or, if you wish, AcroTerra can arrange a special trip from the airport to Sontecomapan and back (special cost).
It is recommended you take a direct ADO or AU bus to Catemaco; they are available from most cities in the center and south of the country. If you are traveling from Mexico City, just take the night bus TAPO-Catemaco.
Once in Catemaco, you should take a collective journey in a truck-taxi, which are called "piratas," (10 MXN per person in 2010) or a standard taxi (100 MXN per trip in 2010) to the Sontecomapan Lagoon. You can catch a pirata on Calle Revolución (behind the ADO station) and taxis are always outside of the ADO station.
Once you are in Sontecomapan, you will have to take a boat that will take you on a beautiful journey of 15 minutes through the lagoon all the way to your destination (this boat is included in the package).
