Spend time with your beloved in a private eco-reserve located in the coastal jungles of Colombia. You will learn Tantric techniques for sacred lovemaking and realize your divine Feminine and Masculine energies. Revitalize your relationship through ritual, worship, and sacred sex. Each day will include a combination of Hatha / Vinyasa yoga, meditation, fire ceremonies, chanting, group exercises, men's circles, women's circles, partner exercises, plenty of time alone, and more. Come to the jungle and reconnect with nature, with yourselves, and with each other.
An ideal place to renew energies and give your spirit the attention it needs. The Natural Reserve Caoba is located 10 kilometers from the Troncal Caribe of Santa Marta, and eight kilometers from Bonda / Masinga, located behind Paso del Mango. It is possible to trek to amazing waterfalls and Tayrona terraces from Caoba.
This Reserve was founded in 2007 by a biologist couple from Germany and Colombia with the inspiration to create a bank of plants and also contribute towards the preservation of nature within this region. They have been reforesting for many years, to reach the point where it's not needed anymore and focus on conservation, eco-lodge, and consultancy. Find your room, stay with them and dive into the beautiful forest of the Sierra Nevada. If you wish to visit for the day, they charge an entrance fee of 10.000 pesos.
You will arrive on March 10, 2019, and check-out on March 17, 2019. The prices include accommodation for a day before the start of the retreat and for the last night of the retreat (seven nights). There will be instructions for six days, from Monday morning until Sunday evening.
Wi-Fi is available every afternoon at specified times. You will have the chance to digitally detox (no grabbing that iPhone every ten minutes!) while knowing that important communications can be tended to on a daily basis if desired.
A trip to the neighboring cacao farm and a hike to the waterfall are included.
Alissa has been practicing various forms of yoga for 14 years and began incorporating Tantric techniques into her daily life even before she knew they had anything to do with Tantra. Her varied interests, all of which influence her teachings, include meditation, sexuality, feminine and masculine energies, shame, parenting, mind-body connection, human relationships, natural birth, psychology, and yoga. Alissa's current focus is overcoming the body and sexuality shame that affects our society and her passion is facilitating the freedom from shame in herself and others.
Aaron has been practicing yoga meditation and studying philosophy for over 13 years. He discovered Tantra during his first trip to India in 2010. He has been teaching non-dual Tantra and Hatha yoga privately, publicly and in support of developing Tantric lifestyle practitioners and teachers for nearly a decade. Armed with his harmonium, undeniable passion, and unique teaching methods, Aaron's understanding of the body, mind, or heart have earned him respect as a leader and a strong voice in the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary yoga.
Within Caoba, there are many beautiful things to explore: a walk up the Manzanares River will bring you to a natural swimming pool, and a stroll through the labyrinth of medicinal plants leads to a beautiful koi pond with stone seats for meditation.
While strolling around, you will come across the turtles, arapaimas, macaws, peccaries, and caimans that live on the reserve. Look more closely and you're likely to catch a glimpse of various tropical birds, lizards, butterflies and even monkeys.
Caoba has a close friendship with the local indigenous Kogi people and has worked with them to restore ancient stone paths as well as to create bridges and ceremonial huts, all of which may be explored while visiting the eco-reserve. A 1-2 hour hike will take you to the Tayrona town Pueblito Chairama, a smaller version of the Lost City. If you would like to enjoy a swim in the Caribbean Sea, a short taxi or bus ride will take you to your choice of sandy beaches, including the gorgeous, protected national park Parque Tayrona.
