Course syllabus

Pranayama and mantra chanting

"Controlling of breath" is pranayama. It is the backbone of yoga asana. The word "pranayama" when split into two different words, "prana" and "ayama," individually depicts the meaning, "prana" as "breath" and "ayama" as "to control." The practice of pranayama is very effective in improving the digestive as well as respiratory systems of the body.

On the other hand, "mantra chanting" is a very powerful tool to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Mantras are Vedic in origin. It will bring strength to the organs, muscles, and chakras in the body.

Hatha yoga

Simply, Hatha yoga is a physical exercise that is used in the practice of yoga. It restores the balance between the intellect and mind. It's none other than a way of preparing and purifying the body as well for a higher level of possibilities and energy.

Ashtanga Vinyasa

The word "Ashtanga" combines two words, i.e., "ashta" means "eight" and "anga" means "limbs." Hence, "Ashtanga" means "path of eight limbs". Ashtanga Vinyasa practice in yoga results in a calm mind, strong body, and improved circulation.

Yoga alignment and adjustment

Yoga practice or asana practice needs proper alignments and adjustment so that one can deepen the practice of yoga posture. It helps in the development of balance in the body and mind.

Anatomy and philosophy

Anatomy and philosophy is the basic part of yoga practice. The study of both will no doubt deepen your yogic knowledge and hence practice. It will make you aware of the structure and functions of the human body.

Meditation / yog Nidra

Meditation or yog Nidra is a spiritual as well as a yogic practice. It is a state of attaining consciousness that ultimately mitigated stress, worries, anxiety, and tension and relaxes your mind. It will simply make you calm and relaxed.

Yogic cleansing

Yogic cleansing is a six-step cleaning process known as "shatkarmas" for the purification of the body. Neti, dhauti, nauli, basti, kapalbhati, and trataka are excellent practices that purify the whole body and bring clarity and harmony to the mind.
