Yoga Teacher and Expert Christina started practicing yoga in 2005 when she was living and studying in the U.K. Back in Spain in 2013, she decided to take her 500-hour Hatha yoga teacher training. In addition, she did a 200-hour teacher training program specializing in various yoga styles in order to deepen further her yoga practice. Christina is a very passionate person and the loving mother of Elisa and Silvi.
Nutritional Consultant Growing up in a Greek restaurant, Simela has been immersed in herbs, tastes, smells, and food traditions since her early childhood. In 2009, she discovered her passion for the macrobiotic philosophy and cooking: the knowledge of the yin and yang applied to food. Today, Simela is a macrobiotic chef for retreats in Mallorca and teaches macrobiotic cooking lessons in various languages.
Erika's first encounter with yoga dates back to 2002, during her University exchange in Mexico. Ever since, the practice of yoga has been part of her daily routines and her life. During the years, Erika has completed three certifications as a yoga teacher. She currently teaches at YogaSpace in Bogotá, and leads the 200 and 500 hour teacher training retreats at PowerYoga Colombia. Erika is a passionate researcher of cultural manifestations and the loving mother of Lujan and Salvador.
Alejandro is a psychologist from the Javeriana University in Bogotá. He has been involved in several professional practices including recent workshops for women victims of sexual violence in the context of the armed conflict in Colombia. Alejandro has worked in designing and conducting rehabilitation workshops in the neuropsychology area, and numerous coaching programs involving leadership, teamwork, and assertive communication. He is currently finishing his master’s degree in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy in Valencia, Spain and has been working for the past few years as psychologist.
Federico graduated from the Instituto Argentino de Gastronomía (IAG) in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is currently working in Bogotá as University Lecturer at Politécnico Internacional Bogotá. In several occasions Federico has been the chef for teacher training retreats at PowerYoga Colombia
